Using Logbook Pro is like using the DOS function on Windows. The company won't move on with the times and now wants to charge for stuff that used to be free.

Anyone know of any decent programs out there that will convert my Logbook Pro files??

Why is logten only for mac! it looks perfect!

You'll just have to come over to the "dark side" one of these days.

Does logten have an online backup? Is it free?

I don't believe it includes an online backup, no. But since I'm sure you're backing up your data somewhere else anyway, I'm not sure why you'd need a separate one just for the logbook.

Are there fees or just the initial purchase price?

As far as I know, just the initial purchase price. (I'm not yet using it -- I'm still using paper, believe it or not. If I have to go job hunting again, it won't be for a flying job I don't think.)

It doesn't. Laptops start at $999; they don't make anything as low-end as some of the $500 Dells, but you get a hell of a machine for $1K.
