Next you'll be telling us that the judge in the Fox vs Franken case was a liberal, right?
As far as conservatives in the media, have you listened to a.m. radio lately?
How about Fox News? Or any business-oriented venue like CNBC?
I am SO glad you asked.
If I recall, the judge was a Clinton appointee. Now, every president appoints judges, and during the Clinton years, the republican party went along with the appointments of the liberal democrats.
Why did they do that?
Because the congressional mandate for judicial approval is to
advise and consent, not
obstruct. That's why Bush's appointments are not being approved. Most are being denied a vote at all. Once again, liberals give themselves a different standard that varies with the situation. Just like the sueing of college students versus a less liberal copyright holder, liberals make up the rules as they go along, according to an extremely malleable set of "values.".
Yes, I listened to AM radio lately. I got my start at NBC in NY, a mostly AM network. I know what has happened recently, too.
The remark I was addressing related to radio
news. Let's say for the sake of the argument that Clear Channel, owned by a self-described cocnservative, owns a large portion of stations that have made a teriffic success carrying programs like Rush Hannity, and O'Reilly. Who does their news, by an undeniable majority?
It's our old liberal friends: CBS, NBC, and ABC.
How about Fox News, or CNBC? Fox makes a policy of having liberal views on board. How else to refute those views? You won't see ANY conservative views on CNN, though. They don't want to be "fair and balanced." CNN is a group of liberal partisan ideologues, and no attempts are made to be equal, fair, unbiased, or balanced. It isn't a part of their
agenda.
CNBC? You mean that a business topic is somehow liberal or conservative, from a standpoint of reporting? I thought numbers, accurately reported by experienced business anchors, had no philospohical or political affiliation?
Ever watch Kudlow and Cramer? Jim Cramer is a dyed in the wool liberal, but he's one of my favorite reporters in this area. He does not lie, or try and twist the facts. It's business and investing, period. I can't see what your beef with CNBC would be, unless you think that reporters should regularly launch into a diatribe about the power of the proletariat or the means of production.
They'd be a laughing stock if they did.
Thanks for the opportunity to clear that stuff up. Glad to help out.
