Jealousy will get you no where. Now go back to the CFI board and tell everyone how great you are!

Why don't you take some of your own advice and lurk on the Major's board? Or is it "do as I say, not as I do?"

I understand where you are coming from, but try a little more tact, or simply do what I do...............ignore some of these tools.

Oh wait.............I get it.........................You're allowed to "go down" the ladder on these boards, but God help you (can I say that?) if you spend any time on a board that's over your head.

Looks like the new TA has relaxed scope.

Dude....

I suppose you donate your paycheck to charity or something like that. If you ever gert to the point in life where you are asked to take cuts for someone else's imcompetence, I'd like to be there to see your reaction. Earning something is not an entitlement. Delta management has laid some huge eggs in the past couple years and they want to blame it all on the pilots and employees. Who took the most profitable airframe and made it a LCC lookalike? Management!!! Who cut fares whith an 87% load factor? Management! There is alot more to this than meets the eye. This threat to shut down the airline is about one thing and one thing only. That is putting a HUGE nail in ALPA's coffin aka Union busting.

It's a win-win for management to cut employee compensation and lay off workers: their stock goes up and they will get a huge bonus off the backs of labor. These management teams need to realise that Delta is not and never will be Southwest Airlines. They may as well raise the rates up and offer service again.

As much as the pilots want to strike ALPA will not let them. ALPA can make more money off of 6,000 pilots at half of their previous pay that 6,000 pilots at no pay. Management will get their pay cuts out of the pilots 10-15% at a time.

ALPA needs to grow a pair, and standup to the airlines.

Hey as long as it doesnt get me on a list somewhere im all for union busting. The sooner we break this ALPO crap the better. Union busting is great in my book. Get those SOBs outta here! I have no problem with busting them or getting them off the property any legal way possible. As long as i dont get on a list im happy

Would Doctors, lawyers, engineers, PA's or pharmacist just be happy and not put up a fight, if there careers pay and benefits where being attacked. I think with the cost of health care sky rocketing all Doctors PA's and pharmacist should take a 50 percent pay cut to help offset the huge increase in premiums, doctors make 300K so they should be able to live on 200k easy.

737Pylt...

I know I'm just "asking" for it by posting anything here...but are you sure you're calm enough to be "in command?" Good thing there's a VERY solid door between you and the cabin. I'd hate to see what you'd do if you were face-to-face with people making these or similar comments.

Passion for a cause is valuable and admirable, but the blind rage you seem to project is cause for alarm. Get a grip.

Gang--
I've sent PMs to several folks asking them to calm their language in this thread, and I'll ask all of you to do the same.

Debate with logic, not anger.

Well said ol chum well said!!!! If all these ALPO guys would use logic instead of anger they wouldnt be in the position they are in today. Too much HOLD THE LINE rhetoric instead of thinking things out logically and calmly.
