Need a nationwide PAC. One that will help every pilot in this country with everything from Checkrides, Medicals, FAR's to conducting proper drug testing.

We need to look at what Doctors have done for themselves with the AMA. Doctors don't get dicked with half as much as we do.

A pac with 2600 pilots isn't big enough to affect change in Washington, DC

It is all about supply and demand

Doctors have made it work (to some extent) by restricting supply of doctors. Only so many new MDs graduate each year. No new med schools in many decades. This is unlike lawyer sand others.

Supply and demand is the big issue with pilots. There are so many who wan to fly at almost any salary rather than have a desk job. It all comes down to Microeconomics 101, 1st week of class.

This idea wreaks of socialism concocted by some union member who realizes there will never be a NSL. Let's all live in a state of utopia where we're all equal and nevermind the 100's if not 1,000's of business models that would be affected by such a scheme. Unions are fine where they're needed but not always needed in all workplaces. Count me out. Flame away!

Amen to that. This union would immediately put the members at a competitive disadvantage, as employers would hire the non members.

PS, no comparison between the education/profession of MD's, DO's, allied health professionals and a pilot, not even by a mile.

Like it or not, to management, we're highly paid machinery operators.

By the way, You might have a chance passing, if they publish the MD board questions ahead of time, you can study for them just like you did for the private instrument, commercial, ATP, and Instructor ratings.
