Add to this a huge increase in fees due to a 50% increase in labor costs with the introduction of a militant union the writing is on the wall. Is there anything else, monfreir?

Militant Union? WTF over. What about the Militant company? I am a 4th year FO making mid 30's to fly one of the previous throw away garbage you mentioned. I made more at a crap whole Commuter than I do 4 years later here! Do you realize our flight attendants make thousands more a year than most of our 4th year F/O's due to the renown "slide to Poverty". If you are capt on the G4 with your little side check(SFO) making 120-130 a year then a union doesnt sound like much for you. I have mentioned it before... its time to step up as a team and at least help out the guys junior to you who do the EXACT same job you do and get paid a heck of a lot less. If that means a union then so be it. Would rather see this place go under due to higher standards demanded from the pilots than merely except the crappy wages, work days, etc and have the company go under because all we could afford to hire was some low time pilot who slams one into the side of the mountain during his first approach into Aspen. Call me crazy I guess.

I don't dispute the pilots being top notch. If you could have purchased the CJ3 (or NJA could have for that matter), you could have crushed the competition in the light jet class. I agree with FLOPs model of the fewer the fleet types within class size, the better the efficiencies, however, with the recent owner confusion regarding business model change, I'd suspect most high net worth folks would be tired of being jerked around by management.

After reading my own post I can see where it might appear as if I were frustrated! I guess I am and hopefully no one takes the post personally. I sat on the fence for almost 2 years at this company and the last 2 years have watched this place literally bury itself and the pilots with it and have had enough at this point. I too agree that we could have a better fleet, but we are the Yugo of the fractionals now and have a reputation to uphold! It really is too bad, this company could have remained a cool place to work.

Take care all, going to have another drink!

.............Don't be afraid to ask the tough questions. If we don't know the answer right away, we'll do the research and get back to you........

In other words, "if you ask a question and we don't know how to answer it in our favor, we will ask Harrison and Ford how to answer so we don't stick our foot in our mouth."

Wow, 50% yah say! Man, I wish that were true. Not quite there. "Militant??" NO, try again.

Hey Miles? Did you screw up in a sortie real bad bro'?

You've got all those aircraft up there against your name and you've only got 3,800 hours?!

Did you run in to one of your own doing formation or something?!!

Think about the ramifications of a NO vote

After the NMB authorizes an election, and by the time it does take place, FLOPS management will undoubtedly have made inuendos of significant pay raises if the pilots vote "No" to representation. For all of you sitting on the fence, believing that a No vote will bring you quicker satisfaction in the form of better pay and QOL, think again. They will certainly come through with a couple of improvements to your work rules and compensation, but you can bet your a$$ that they will be far short of what you might hope for. Yes, the process of electing a representative, forming a committee, negotiating and ratifying a contract is going to be a long one, but it is the only way to ensure that your futures are protected. Why it is important to get it right the first time? The second opportunity to authorize an election would take a very long time.

I'm no longer an Options pilot (7 months removed), but I have good friends there, and my coworkers and I do have a stake in the outcome of your bid for better compensation. My boss walked into our hangar two weeks ago with a copy of FLOPS current pay scale.

Good luck. We're all watching and hoping.

hey miles THE toole...

Raytheon didn't give us 50 million, what they did was buy out the remaining share holders so they own 100% of us. And this company does make raytheon a ton of money. Of course they tell us they are broke. Ive never heard a company tell the pilots "we are making a ton of money so we are gonna give you a raise."

And DAL is a completely different animal than we are.

So stick to looking in the mirror and telling yourself how cool you look and that you really are a pilot.

Let me ask this are the APM's and CP's on the seniority list?

If NJ had put put the APM's and CP's in this position they would have had a revolt. the APM's and CP's are on the senority list at nj.
