Hey Miles? Did you screw up in a sortie real bad bro'?

You've got all those aircraft up there against your name and you've only got 3,800 hours?!

Did you run in to one of your own doing formation or something?!!

Yah, that does make yah wonder.

Think about the ramifications of a NO vote

After the NMB authorizes an election, and by the time it does take place, FLOPS management will undoubtedly have made inuendos of significant pay raises if the pilots vote "No" to representation. For all of you sitting on the fence, believing that a No vote will bring you quicker satisfaction in the form of better pay and QOL, think again. They will certainly come through with a couple of improvements to your work rules and compensation, but you can bet your a$$ that they will be far short of what you might hope for. Yes, the process of electing a representative, forming a committee, negotiating and ratifying a contract is going to be a long one, but it is the only way to ensure that your futures are protected. Why it is important to get it right the first time? The second opportunity to authorize an election would take a very long time.

I'm no longer an Options pilot (7 months removed), but I have good friends there, and my coworkers and I do have a stake in the outcome of your bid for better compensation. My boss walked into our hangar two weeks ago with a copy of FLOPS current pay scale.

Good luck. We're all watching and hoping.

hey miles THE toole...

Raytheon didn't give us 50 million, what they did was buy out the remaining share holders so they own 100% of us. And this company does make raytheon a ton of money. Of course they tell us they are broke. Ive never heard a company tell the pilots "we are making a ton of money so we are gonna give you a raise."

And DAL is a completely different animal than we are.

So stick to looking in the mirror and telling yourself how cool you look and that you really are a pilot.

Let me ask this are the APM's and CP's on the seniority list?

If NJ had put put the APM's and CP's in this position they would have had a revolt. the APM's and CP's are on the senority list at nj.

CP, PM's and APM's are all on the seniority list.

Yep, they're on there.....WAAAY out of seniority and all! Of course....I think I'm the only one that thinks it BS that those guys are chosen regardless of seniority and/or experience.

yeah...and don't forget...if enough people are foolish enough to vote no, or not vote, they will use the union struggle (paying H & F) as justification to withhold any raise or at least to keep it way below industry standards due to money spent on the union battle. If the union does not come, I plan on taking my ball and going home.

tired of hearing from guys who have pensions from previous employers(ex military) giving unbiased reasons not to have a union at flex and flight options. Management likes to put these guys in charge of commitees and other departments so they can better the lives of guys who bring home less then just these guys pensions alone. I hope no one will elect these people to represent them in getting their own pensions and 6 figure incomes after unions are voted in at both properties.
