rubber dog?

.

Additionally, there's quite a few 121 Supplementals out there hiring at $75k-90k a year for 727 CA's flying rubber dogsh*t in the middle of the night. Go do that, but don't expect to get your number back.

Craziness...
What is wrong with rubber dog sh*t if keeps you flyin? I thought hauling rubber dog Sh*t in the C1A into Australia beat any night spend on the boat.

I didn't say there was... I'm actually trying to wrangle my way into that side of the op over here in YIP.

Just said that was something they could do with their new age-65 ability, rather than bumping someone out of the CA seat so they could go back to their ultra-senior widebody Legacy gig.

So if I was given a ticket for speeding and subsequently the speed limit on that road has increased (therefore I would not have been speeding), would I get a refund on the fine of the ticket?

Timing is everything...on both sides of this issue. I feel bad that these guys have retired but...THEY RETIRED...that was the law at the time. Come on back, but as a new-hire. Those on this side of age 65 will have our own penalty to pay (no pun intended).

I hope in the end they spend all their retirement money on this battle and lose. Only to be forced to get a job at Mesa, just to make ends meet.
Instead of raising the age they should have lowered it..

Boo-frickin-hoo....

And if they win, then what??!! Did Prater and ALPA think of this ramification??

And someone mentioned Prater got exactly what he wanted. What exactly was that? The bill, except for allowing two over 60 pilots on domestic operations, is basically unchanged from the original.

Thanks ALPA and SWAPA for screwing the industry!! I hope all the junior pilots that got screwed by this new rule are going to launch a recall of Prater.

I really frickin' hate these guys.

It would serve the airlines right to have to pay for a retraining and ensuing bump and flush when they come back. Then, they would go and burn the rest of their sick leave before "retiring" again at 65.

Maybe SWAPA needs to negotiate a retirement plan rather than to keep bumping the age limit...TC
