When I called last week, the lady said that the next class was in August.

Haven't heard anything official, though many rumors. They hired like crazy over the last few quarters for something-but many of us are now sitting around wondering what. The Brasilia is very overstaffed right now-seems like they were gearing up for a big expansion that hasn't come yet. Wonder if the contract negotiations might have an impact on any of this.

So if there is overstaffing, are there more scheduled days off?

I doubt it, probably more days on reserve where you don't get called in.

have a few buddies out there. hope all works out well for you guys....maybe even an "above-poverty" boost pretty soon? good luck.

Just heard the May class was discontinued today. Was told by same source that April class plus 30 more may also be at risk. Shux!

Looks like things didn't go as planned with some of the EAS applications.

Lets hope this will all be dispelled on Monday:confused:

Maybe United is going to make Lakes a UAX carrier again. Hell, they did it with Mesa. Who's next?

Next week I'm going to buy a C-182, paint it in the new United colors, and see if I can be a UAX carrier too.

april class is going to get furloughed too.
All you guys in the pool hang tight there might be some rapid expansian in PHX soon
