Any of you have a Whale type? His 747SP arrived this week.
Anyone know the background on the SP?
It's a 747SP31, s/n 21961, the 415th 747 built. Delivered to TWA in March of 1980 as N58201, sold to the Gov't of the United Arab Emirates as A6-SMR in February of 1985.Anyone know the background on the SP?

That was probably s/n 21992, which was in Roswell from October 2004 through April 2007. The history on that one is delivered to Braniff, sold to Pan Am, on to United, on to the Oman Gov't, until October 2004, when it became a resident in Roswell. It left Roswell for San Bernardino on April 28th of this year. Thanks for the info. I saw one in Roswell all sealed up and thought it was that. I think that one is an Amiri A/C.
