Thermocouple said:In all fairness, the MDA CEL guys may be completely immoral, but there are still 4 people in that class that are true APL guys (read this to mean guys that anyone with half a F***ing brain would recognize as actual human beings that have actually worked for US Airways). Supposedly, only 6 of the 10 are from Piedmont. I don't have any problem with the other 4 and hope that they do not end up guilty by association for being in a class with the PDT guys.

What about that do you not understand???
That is correct, if you are flying for MDA, the PWO. MDA is not a PWO; it is/was US Airways, Inc. It was moved to the LCC Ops Certificate. I didn't make myself an US Airways Pilot/APL Pilot. AAA ALPA did. APL pilots don't have to Flow back. They can participate in J4J. They are participating in J4J.
Your fight is not with the J4J pilots. It is with AAA ALPA. You have taken the appropriate steps in greiving the J4J protocols. Now watch and see what happens.

That is definitely a violation of the ALPA constitution because proper hiring practice was not followed. I agree with you that it is not your fault, but I am really curious as to how that works.

1989 USAir new hire here. I was definitely NOT offered a recall to mainline in 2004, so if anyone was hired there as a MAINLINE pilot, I think I am due some back pay. Perhaps one of those CEL guys can explain that one?
