Latest I heard is flight orig from Sun Valley.. there are 4 reported fatalities, not sure if thats on board or on the ground...CNN is report sounds like he came in too hot and heavy...

No ice, blzr. CRQ is on the north coast of San Diego County.

Only Runway is 6/24. It's 4897 feet long, but only 4600 is available for landing. Not a lot of runway, but more than enough for a 560. Under normal operation, as long as the nose wheel is on the ground, the T/Rs would be available.

4600' is a lot of runway for a lot of aircraft...makes you wonder what the heck could have happened since wx couldn't have played a part.

They said it departed out of SUN, and landed 20 mins before the tower opened. If that's true, it appears to be N86CE.
