Hope you're being sarcastic; inexperienced I'm not. (Check the profile, btw 85% of my time is pure international.)
Thanks,

Well none at LGA. But let me see; Schipol, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Northholt (5 NM north of Heathrow) Athens (LGAV and the now closed LGAT), Madrid, Bahrain Intl, Warsaw, Sophia, Naples (Italy not Fl.), HNL, Lisbon, Singapore, Ben Gurion, Larnaca, Lady Lex, pretty much every field in Italy, many fields most haven't heard of, etc, etc, plus most Navy & AF bases in Europe ;25 knot direct crosswinds in Olbia & Souda Bay, transpacs & translants, yada, yada, yada...

You may want to apply at Delta or American where you will fit in better. You may not fit in at an airline that's chalked full of Scabs!

Everything is done online. There is no "Continental-only" application. Wether you go to airlineapps.com or Continental.com/careers/etc you will end up at the same airlineapps website.

The application is long and detailed, and it is free, as long as you have not completed an application with airlineapps previously. If you have done another one, for example Frontier (they use airlineapps too.), then its 60 bucks to have your Frontier one "copied" to the Continental one. Or, if you have a lot of time on your hands, even if you have allready done one for Frontier, you can create a Continental app from scratch and type the whole thing over.

As for reserve time, that's a strange argument that I never understood from my buddies who stayed at the commuters. "Ohh man, you'll be on reserve forever!" So what? I bid reserve all 4 years I was at a large regional, and I ended up with more days off and more time at home than those who bid lines. Continental is the same way. Of course, I've never commuted a day in my life and I've moved to every single city I've been based in, so maybe it's different for me. I prefer reserve. If you live in base, you definately end up with more days off on reserve than all but the more senior line holders.

Really don't see either one turning around by the time I retire. AA still has almost 2900 furloughed; Delta, although starting to recall, still has 600 furloughed.

Would be nice if someone answered the original question...

There is nowhere to paste a standard resume and yes all recomendations both internal and external are done online. Good luck I've been in since the first day the app was available and hoping for the chance to interview since.
