I guess they may not run all the way to ATL, but they do go between ELP and DFW. I may not be able to jumpseat beyond DFW, but at least I can get home on my own from there.

The ASA flights from ELP to DFW end in January. Commuting from DFW to ATL will be pretty much impossible.

You don't need to list. Just get a jumpseat form and give it to the gate agent, who will then put you on the list. Only ASA pilots can list ahead of time. I don't have the form in front of me but I think it says something to the effect of no earlier than an hour before departure time and no later than 15 minutes before. The DFW gate agents will bend over backwards to help you, they do a great job.
