by Russian: Jealousy is a b!tch

Why the heck should I be jealous at you! I have flown with GIA pilots. I have flown with good pilots from GIA as well as some who could not get a hold right after 3 attempts! They don't fly any better than other pilots around. If you think that airliners are 'begging' for your expertise, you are in some retarded fantasy land!

That is totally preposterous. Do you know what "preposterous" means?

Contrary to nature or reason; not adapted to the end; utterly and glaringly foolish; unreasonably absurd; perverted.
Syn: Absurd; perverted; wrong; irrational; foolish; monstrous. See Absurd. -- Pre*pos\"ter*ous*ly, adv. -Pre*pos\"ter*ous*ness, n.
Good call defining the word here, Bobby. The last time I used the word I fear it was mistaken as a compliment.

But Bobby?!?!?!

I thought I took back the a-hole comments!

Look.

None of us are ever going to agree on this. Honestly, I don't really care how myself or anyone else "gets" to an airline. All that matters is that they get there and they are good hearted and a safe stick. Yes propdog, they should know how to hold. :D

Top gun- you are still an idiot. I will state that I have no pesonal experiance with TAB, but the airline is a joke. The only time I every saw them fly was a single pilot charter to FXE. The Captain was wearing a wife-beater and ripped up jeans. The passengers however were well dressed. Their poor professionalism shows through in every action they take.

Bobby-

If I take two people out and take off my "hevy iron" Russian made watch.........maybe then it will work. Let me get my performance charts........

Saturday afternoon entertainment. You boys are too much.
By the way.......I'm going to PFT at Delta too!!

Don't worry about it.

. . . . and a child and flamebaiter. There, we agree 100%.

We agree, there, too. Poljot is a Moscow watchmaker that makes high-quality, very interesting watches at very reasonable prices. I own Poljot watches and recommend them. They make models in titanium cases, but the stainless-cased watches absolutely will not throw off your weight and balance.

By the way.......I'm going to PFT at Delta too!!
Some people never learn . . . . . ;)

Thanks, but I actually posted from an online dictionary.

Let's throw "asinine" into the mix, as in the above comments are asinine as well as preposterous.

asinine

adj : complacently or inanely foolish [syn: fatuous, inane, mindless, vacuous]

The Russian you said this, "By the way.......I'm going to PFT at Delta too!!"

It is one thing to PFT at a regional company flying 1900's. But who the he11 in their right mind would WANT to PFT at a major?

I assume that was a joke. At least I hope it was!:D

Of course it is. But G-d help us all if it comes down to that.

How can you say that GIA is a good company to work for?
Have you worked anywhere else to be able to compare?
Are you happy getting $8.00 an hour?
I respect you or anybody else for whatever dicisions you make on your flying career, but don't come here and try to BLOW SUNSHINE UP OUR A$$$.

funny

I, for one, did think the joke was rather amusing, anyone else even read it????

But the fact of the matter is...YOU'RE NOT FLYING a kingair or 1900 with 400 hours. The captain is...you're just manipulating the controls.

Please explain the difference between flying an airplane and manipulating the controls of an airplane. Thank you.

When I was flying for a 135 operation, we had co-pilots from Eagle Jet International. They would buy their time in the King Air and some became good pilots and some did not. But in the beginning, they were all bad.

I was flying the airplane, taking care of the customers' concerns, and giving flight instruction to the co-pilot. To me, this is bad business. I agree with some of the other posters that the co-pilot is a paying passenger until they get significant expirence.

Yes, you are buying a job. I would have an extremely hard time hiring a person who paid for training. PFT is bad for aviation!

Good Luck

Its called BAD STICK or GOOD STICK!!! Not all are like that. I'm sure when you started to fly something bigger then a cessna u made small mistake. Dingbang

This tread blows me away. Even GIA pilots know it's a scam. They hide their head in shame. I have nothing to do with GIA and I've never heard of TabExpress, but I know GIA. Here's a question for ya russian...who paid GIA for you? Go on...you can say it...we all know...let it out. It was DAD. How do I know? All you GIA punks are the same, "I don't waaaannt to instruct. I want an airline job RIGHT NOW. Gimme a job! right now! I deserve it! (stamping feet) If you don't give me a job I'll HOLD MY BREATH!!!"

Let your face turn blue. Your going nowhere. No one is going to hire you. I'm on a hiring board and I'd fly you accross America just for the pleasure of telling you to beat feet you sissy baby! Maybe you can buy a job at UAL or USAir. I think they could use the cash. Oh wait, they have furloughees. Sorry, guess you just lose.

glasspilot i disagree with many of the russians comments, but on another thread, i think you said you fly into KAZO. this means you either fly for pinnacle (hires gulfstream people), eagle ( has hired gulfstream people), ACA, or Comair (has hired gulfstream people, and was a major PFT airline)

I call Bull shiznat on the hiring board part. unless your at ACA, which won't be hiring for a long while.

from your tone, it sounds as though the only one turning blue in the face is you. face it, wether you or anybody else likes it or not, some pfters/gulfstream "grads" are going to/have gotten good jobs.

i HAVE NOT ever paid a cent to gulfstream, or any other time build program, but i laugh everytime people think they have a right to judge other peoples use of their/ or parents/ or banks money. at least a few of these gulfstream or tab pilots are great pilots i'm sure. those guys are going to get jobs, because some of them i'm sure, aren't pricks. wether they paid out the arse, or not.
