Q. How do you fit 20 paying pax on a 19 seat B1900?

A. Gulfstream International Airlines or Tab Express.....

(if you still don't get it, think who the other paying pax is!!!!!)

You are ignorant. I don't have any experiance with TAB, but at GIA we fly. Well, I guess you wouldn't know about our 99.7% pass rate with the airlines that hire us. Nor would you know about the four regionals that are begging for pilots from GIA because we train so easily and fly so proficiently. You are much too busy cracking jokes on your fellow pilots.

Begging? Don't know about that.........?

Begging?

"Oh please, send us the resume's of all your pilots! We're having such a hard time finding qualified, experienced pilots right now! EVERYBODY knows those turboprop sparkys are the best all-around aviators in the industry!"

Calm down there now junior. Do you really think you've found the Aeronautical Rosetta Stone? The one job that provides the training and experience to eclispse anybody not as astute as yourself in their job choices?

Grow up some. Really. Why is it so many people get a charge out of coming to this board and posting their little chest-thumping, self-serving gems?

So, the burden is on you. Post some intelligent facts and/or well-reasoned commentary as to why you are so vastly superior to your peers. My guess is you don't have the cajones to try. (Not to mention the fact that your assertions are BS.)

ahhhh thats it

You know when theres someone who just drives you nuts and you just feel like giving them a headlock until they pass out?

Well Russian, I have no problems with Gulfstream/Tab Express type programs, and I could care less about PFT issues, but to go around and state how airlines are begging for Gulfstream grads is a little.. well alot.... of Bull ShlT...

NO airlines are begging for ANYBODY, not 7000 hour furloughed 757 drivers , and sure as hell no 500 hour B1900 Drivers.

100LL-

Don't call me a newbie, you don't know me. You don't know how I fly or how I teach.

LJDRVR-

Read some of my posts and you will see actual facts about GIA. None of which is BS. Your TT doesn't give you the right to call anyone junior, you don't know me either.

All-

I am getting tired of all of you and your f-in opinion. I bring facts to the table. GIA is one of the finest schools I have attended. After I am finished training at GIA I will be 5 steps ahead of my fellow CFI's when it comes to airline hiring. Most of what you know about GIA is rumor, hearsay, and slander from pilots who have nothing better to do than hate someone for doing something different. GIA has an excellent training program that makes any pilot, young or old, better and more professional. I am proud to be a part of that program. I am learning things that will ensure my success as a crewmember at a regional and hopefully a major carrier.

GIA is NOT a PFT/PFJ program in any way. The airline and academy was founded on the FO program. In no way are GIA graduates buying a job. They fly the 250hrs. and receive sim and ground training. Upon completion they must go through an interveiw with the airline of their choice and be hired. WE DO NOT PAY FOR A PERMANENT SEAT AT AN AIRLINE.

It is late and I don't think I want to spend anymore time repeating my previous posts. If you want to know facts and you are rational, then pm me. For those of you who have nothing good to say with no facts to back your statements up........GET BENT. Nobody named you the God of aviation either.

Dear jtrain,

I wish you the best in your aviation carrer. but i fear that with your attitude you will not make it far. I have made many great friends at tab most of them very good pilots. you try flying a kingair/be1900 at 400 hours. it is very difficult. why do you insult such an operation? do you want to be there? if so pm me and i might be able to walk your resume in. you are wrong to say that there are 20 paying paxs at tab in a 1900. there is only 19. we might pay for our training but we are a part 121 crew member who gets paid to sit there. i fear that you want to be like us. don't worry i know times are bad right now but things will turn around soon. every one goals, so don't knock them. we at tab and others want to make it to the hevy iron too.

GO TABEXPRESS!!

O.K. Junior,

I've read quite a few of your posts, but they are not germaine to our discussion. I said NOTHING about GIA. I think it's laudable that you are proud of your school, that's commendable. What I have a problem with is your hyperbole concerning the employability of your students. In my previous post I simply demanded that you provide some facts or well-reasoned commentary to support your wild allegations. I'm still waiting.

"Nor would you know about the four regionals that are begging for pilots from GIA because we train so easily and fly so proficiently."

My issue with this statement is that it's absolutely incorrect. If you believe that having been through a certain training program makes you a better pilot than ANYBODY, you are really showing your lack of aviation maturity.

Experience does not always mean that the pilot is worth anything. I've flown with low-time guys who were simply amazing, and high time folks who were an accident waiting to happen. In all of these cases it was the individual's skills that determined what kind of aviator they were, and those skills are not always the result of a specific type or kind of training.

Which four regionals are "begging" for GIA graduates? Give me a break. Don't believe everything the marketing trogs tell you. The regionals aren't begging for anybody. What you have yet to discover is the true nature of the pilot market you are about to enter into. If you did you wouldn't be making such statements. I'll give you an example. Several years ago Spirit Airlines would have been a good opportunity for someone in my boat. With several thousand hours of turbine PIC, I would have been an attractive prospect. Fast forward to 2004. My buddy just got hired by Spirit. His flight time is 100% in excess of mine, he has DC-9 time, and he's the LEAST experienced guy they hired in his group. No sour grapes, just understand the competition you face is MUCH more severe than you think it is, and nobody gives a rats patootie that you have 100 hours of Beech 1900 SIC time.

Don't get me wrong. I wish you nothing but success beyond your wildest dreams. But don't post garbage and then take it personally when someone questions you about it.

PS- JTrain is yanking your chain, ignore him.

It must be tough shelling out 25K and then finding out no one in the industry will ever respect you as a pilot.

I think what are Russian friend posted is pathetic, but give me a break. I can't say just because someone flew around in the pattern for a thousand hours as a CFI, they deserve respect. I don't know many pilots that have respect for people just beacuse they were CFI's. Most pilots I know respect another for their skills, not what backround they came from.

But then again, this is Flightinfo, where everything is relative.(or not really)

how much do you have to pay at gulfstream? soon the majors will be pft so more low time pilots can get a job easier. its hard competing against 5000hr jet captains.

TopGun-MAV,

What a stupid thing to say. Why would anyone want the majors to be PFT? Even PFTers DO NOT WANT to pay more than once.

Obviously this is Flame bait, or you're retarded, or you're related to Donald Trump, and retarded.

Gulfstream is a heii of alot cheaper than the 60 grand over at Tab. I think Gulfstream is around 20-25 grand.

I think I'm an idiot for even responding to that post.

why do you think i'm related to donald trump? no, i'm not retarted. yes, i admit i'm a little slow sometimes, but not retarded.
i never said i wanted major airlines to be pft, read exactly wot i said. it would be easier for low time pilots to get a job there. thats all i meant.
don't feel bad about responding to me, i know people mock me here.

TopGun-MAV:

How did you get that be-1900 type rating under your profile with 395 hours?

Just curious.....

I cannot actually believe you guys are showing your faces on this board. You have "rented" a seat and are laughed at and looked down upon by most all on this board and around the entire industry. I could not even look at myself in the mirror if I had to go out and "rent" a seat out in a 1900 to play with the radios and "play pilot". You have very little if anything of substance and fact to bring to this board. Why continue to post and continue to be the laughing stock?

It is be a whore and "rent" a seat out and play pilot. You are doing nothing more than BUYING a job, it is a complete joke. "Airline of their choice"? Pinnacle, who else? I kind of thought so. Most other regionals will not even look at you pfters.

get real

I sense the rudest of awakenings lies ahead.

Seriously commie, no one in the show likes a PFT'er.
That sh't may slide at a dirtbag regional but thats as far as you are likely to get.
