JFK taxiway FB incident? Delta CRJ...757 stuck behind them

Hey guys...anyone know what happened today (tuesday march9th) around 1630L.

ATIS said taxiway FB was closed. When we rolled out on 4R, we saw a Delta RJ with door open and many, many vehicles around it. Behind the RJ was a Delta 757...apparently stuck behind the RJ on FB.

As we left ground freq...the 757 was hooked up to a super-tug which was going to move them back...onto 4R then pulled up to E...and I assumed released to taxi on its own.

Delta doesn't fly any R(eplacement)J(ets)s. But they do sell way too many seats on them.

Hopefully, this will change in the future.

Minor problem with gear door open to bus pax, 757, well I don't know wasn't stuck long. They taxied it to the gate, around 1750

Good Point Delta doesn't fly any Commuter planes. they just Subcontract that flying out to the lowest Bidder. and Hope for the best.

They don't hope for the best.... You are assuming that RA and DS have some measure of conscience. Your assumption is false. They don't care-they simply don't care at all. If any airline managers gave half a rat's ass, Mesa would have been liquidated years ago! The same fate would have befallen Colgan, Gulfstream, and probably Pinnacle.

Because the RJ crew was on FB looking for more friends. Not to mention looking for coupons for dinner that night, new jobs and pictures of Gen Lee's wife....neked.
