To make things right, they should give all of us that made it to Phase II and then got rejected 3 months later a class date when we get enough time. Whatever it is that they may be looking for, rather than go throught the whole process again. What do you guys think?

To be honest, I do not believe that I will be taking the job if I am offered a class date. As jetBlue said this is a time for both company and applicant to interview each other and so far I do not like what I have seen. I know some of the people that did not get hired and they are good pilots and fine people. Of course, I have no idea why they got turned down but I do know making them wait for 3 months only to be denied for reasons like "not enough flight time" is a little hard to understand. By no means am I trying to say that jetBlue is a bad company (I think they are great), just that their hiring process is awful and needs to be fixed. I also believe that 90% of the hiring problems stem from USIS's inability to stay on top of their own paperwork.

So you are willing to reject a job based on their hiring practices. Take the job and try to fix it!

Thats still a possibility! I guess right now I am just a little aggravated. Like I said before I think they are a good company with good employees. Regardless of what happens I surly wish everybody at JB nothing but the very best.

Hey J3,
Hang in there! This is a real character tester! You are hanging tough. It can't be that much longer. There are lots of folks on this board "pulling" for you. I know the group behind you is "feeling your pain" Thanks again for all your valuable inputs to the various threads.

Thanks! I know jetBlue is a great company but I could do without the free stress test. Has anyone heard anything from the Jan interviews yet?

We January folks were promised at least an 8 week wait so I think it will be a while.

That's got the call from VK. Going to class March 1st. They have Airbus and EMB190 slots available.

J3, hang in there. Hope you get some good news.

I'm still waiting...13 weeks today since I interviewed.

Scratch that...they called me too with positive news. I was expecting the call from Salt Lake but it came from Orlando.

Good going guys. Congratulations!!! You will love it here. It is a great company to work for.

Be sure to bring your "significant other" to the orientation. They will wine and dine you and give your wives/girlfriends (or both) a chance to fly the A320 simulator.

Have a great time in MCO.

Steve Di.

Steve Di,
I heard from Marty you made the jump into the Blue. Congrats. I'm waiting in phase II for good news. You must've gone into training 1 year exactly after our upgrade class in the jungle jet. Glad to hear you like it.

Hi Dave!

You hit the nail squarely on the head. I lasted only one year at Eagle.

There was a former BX guy in my class, Larry C. Great guy. His wife is an Eagle F/A, she is former Command. She knows all you guys in Boston.

Check your private messages.

In case some of you guys were wondering...

To my fellow JetBlue Nov 2/3 interview folks...

...I have been keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers, especially those who I met personally at the interview or whom I got to know via e-mail after speaking with you on this thread. I'm hoping you guys are all having a blast in class, and will be on the line at JetBlue soon.

Everything does indeed seem to happen for a reason, and here's a link to a thread I posted on FI about the position I just accepted at an aviation management company:

http://forums.flightinfo.com/showthread.php?p=944437#post944437

I think in the long run this will be a great opportunity and experience for my family and I. I still never found out the real reason why JetBlue turned me down, but it's all for the best I guess!

Once again, you folks are a bunch of real class-acts, and I hope to bump into you all again someday. This business certainly is small enough.

God bless, fly safe, and don't forget to keep the faith!

TG,

Very professional post. Good luck at your company. A rejection notice is tough to swallow, as is a furlough. I was furloughed after many years at a major, and my life has just gotten better since. Sometimes it takes a few years for the reasons of past events to become clear.
