Dude, if that's your most convincing arguement, good luck preventing the union. But I'll be sure that you get the same benefits of a CBA that we are all entitled to, even if you personally don't deserve them.
 
That 2% will return almost 8% in COLA (which is now non-existant), actual peer average parity (which changes every time someone looks at who's making what), and 401K/B-plan increases. That's a 400% return on investment. I'll take it. You can have your crumbs.
