If you take the job, and decide to leave within a year or so, do you have to pay back training expenses since you signed a 5 year contract? Curious, does anyone know? Thx

No. The contract you are refering to is a contract of employment, not a training contract.

Its my understanding that you can leave anytime, although you cannot go back to your previous employer for two years. This per the contract you sign.

This I found out from a PM. Not sure if it's true or not.

That is what it says....among other dubious things.

You don't seem to know what you're talking about. I made a polite response to a post, and you stir the pot. Nice!

There is nothing dubious about it. If you think you would prefer to stay with your present employer, stay. Otherwise, lose the attitude.

I have questions for all of you who got called.

1) Are you currently flying or are you furloughed/liquidated?

2) Are the calls for conditional employment or not.

Just wondering 'cause I wanna be called to.

I'm currently flying and the employment is conditional. Although, the day after the call my company emerged from BK.
