Not bitter and don't want to flow.........sorry I didn't fit your mold.

Dude, you are such a liar. There are many threads on Flightinfo, where you brag about how great you are going to have it when you flow to AA. Now that it looks like you are going to lose the flow through, you say you don't want to flow.

As far as JB being on a BK list, be careful throwing stones. Many analysts are predicting AMR will eventually declare BK and this latest debacle doesn't help. If they do declare, those little inefficient airplanes that you fly are going to be parked first. You should practice keeping your mouth shut.:D

Because you brought it up moron!

It's accaptable to belittle all regional pilots as "bottom feeders", but pathetic when they provide information to refute their bottom feeder status ?
No just idiots like you who like to dish it out but can't take it!

It took 20 years, but I've made over $120K for the last 4 years. How long is not the point.
Congrats, it usually takes 1/4 of that time at a major and by year 2 at SWA, FDX,UPS....But that would require you getting hired there!;)

The point is we are all at where we're at NOW. Eagle isn't going to fold (it may change, yes.....and maybe not for the better), but Jet Blue might fold unless something changes.
When fearing for you job its always better to put someone down eh?

What WON'T change is that oil will remain at or above 100 bucks a barrel for the foreseeable future and Jet Blue's costs are only going to go UP, as their pilots become more senior, their other employees get raises (maybe) and maintenance becomes more frequent and more in-depth.
Since you seem to have it all figured out, what is tonight's big 6 lotto?
Besides, what's AMR's plans for eagle when they file chp 11?

Without an eventual cash infusion, JB has got some REAL problems ahead and it might be tough to find someone willing to throw good money after bad after 6 more months of this.
All of this insight, and still you can't get out of eagle.

I n the last 20 years, it's been the Gulf War, 9/11 and now Recession/Oil, but me the little ol' disgruntled and bitter RJ lowlife "bottom feeder" keeps on truckin.
Keep telling yourself that, I'm sure it helps you feel better!

Ever read the story of the "Tortoise and the Hare" ?

I like being the Tortoise.
And yet you fit the part of the ass better!

The Tortoise can usually look back at his path when he gets to the finish line and see a much more relaxed and less stressful ride. In fact, the most interesting part is watching the hare tie himself in knots on his spastic journey. The Hare is exhausted from all the start/stops, jerking around and tumbles into the bushes and ironically frequently has less to show for his winnings even if he does make the finish line first.

No........I think I'll stay the Tortoises course.

You mean the ass, right??
I bet your arm isn't just tired from patting yourself on the back!
BTW tool, isn't TSA replacing eagle out of MIA??
SO much for the stability of eagle, huh?

737

Just another airline that turned this tool down!

737

Nope..........never applied.

Same goes for your outfit too. I see you guys finally bent over for management. Of course, since they were going ahead with the merger, you really had no choice.

Best of luck to those at NWA.

Because you brought it up moron!

I must have struck a nerve.

Feel better now ?

NO, TSA is flying some of Eagle's EMB routes (but not all). Won't affect me anyway as I have 90% of our seniority list under me.

You've been spewing your bulls&%t here for a long time and it's just as worthless now as ever.

Sorry.

The merger will DEFINATELY result in aircraft and job trimming to be successful. I'd keep that left hand in good condition becasue your going to be using it for many more years. Gear handles can really cause a lot of skin problems.

I did want to flow...........once.

The reasons you mention above are why it's a waste of time. Eagle and RJ's are NOT going to disappear despite your fantasies. They will still be needed to fly a lot of routes. With THOUSANDS below me here, I'm not too worried. Eagle's not my sole (or even primary) income anyway.

Best of luck and keep those fuel burns down on those 1 hour taxis at JFK.

All of that in an RJ, you are a big man! You think Jet Blue's got troubles, wait till AMR dumps your sorry ass, as a little regional. RJ's die fast. Bad attitude mixed with small planes won't help anyone, you especially. It's a tough time man, you will need more friends than enemy's now a days. I think we ALL better band together, Your fuel smells as bad as everyone else's!

Yep.

Eagle's shutting down and AMR is pulling out of hundreds of cities.

Riiiiiight......

"How much fuel can I get for a four year old airbus named Blue Skid Mark?"

Hang in there JB. Just keep that TV working.

Good start.

You forgot $127,000/year, weekends off, drive to work, 100% match on 401(k) and almost 90% of my seniority list below me.

:)

That's all good, but you still have to look in the mirror and live with that face of yours the rest of your life.

JFK taxis are usually less than 35 minutes most days now. Have fun in the Saab in SJU!

I'll try to get this thread back on track. I used to work for JetBlue and the bottom line is thier product is awesome. Their pilots and inflight crews are awesome. They'll be around for a long time. If they have stopped hiring, I don't think it will be for long.

Dork. Glad you are able to afford that netflix account, I'm sure you need it.

Anyone who brags in public about how much they make and how many days off they have to make themselves seem better than everyone else is a liar!

Is this preceeding the furlough or shutdown ?

I suppose they could continue to burn the furniture to heat the house (sell more Airbuses), but that won't hold for long with JFK ground fuel burns and $100+ barrel crude.

Perhaps JB could dump all the buses and be a EMB-190 only operation. Maybe then AA will buy them and make the 190 the replacement for MD-80 domestic ops. It would at least save a lot of jobs, but you'd probably have to suck on a stapler. AA EMB-190's would make it through the LGA future limits and an AA BK could ax the pensions that would make these planes profitable.

Ahh..........just pondering.

Good Luck.............you guys are at the top of the "watchlist" for BK.

Didn't Neeleman just pull the ripcord on his parachute ?

Guys like you make me :puke:
Have a good night!

Will you be applying to be my F/O ?

The Rum will be on me.

Anyone who brags in public about how much they make and how many days off they have to make themselves seem better than everyone else is a liar!

I'm not "bragging" about that.

I had to include that to refute the erronous assumption that all regional pilots are bottomfeeders or are perceived inferior to those who fly "big" aircraft BY those who fly big aircraft.

While were at it, lets include among the liars, those who brag about flying larger airplanes or for major airlines belittling those who don't.

You just described the status and income of the top 100 or so flight attendants at SW. Welcome to the big leagues. However their 100% 401K is 7.3% on every $$ and historical profit sharing of about 8-9%. How do you compare now???

Is this true?! Flight attendants making over $100k? If so, good for them... :)

I had an interview there scheduled for early april, before I got the call from Netjets. I turned it down, they wanted me to buy my own hotel in New York and travel myself out. They told me my interview was at 2:30 pm and to be there by 200pm. It was a weird phone call.

I must have struck a nerve.

Feel better now ?

Not really.....Putting little pricks like you in their place is sometimes needed to get you off your high horse regional boy!

NO, TSA is flying some of Eagle's EMB routes (but not all). Won't affect me anyway as I have 90% of our seniority list under me.
Whatever makes you feeel better junior regional boy!

You've been spewing your bulls&%t here for a long time and it's just as worthless now as ever.
:crying:
Oh no, regional boy insulted me......

Sorry.

I'm sure you know a lot about left hands.
Don't worry about our merger young sparky....We'll be just fine, the thing you should worry about is what is going to happen after AMR corp flushes you like the turd you are when they declare BK!

AMF!

eaglefly,

If you're going to rank on someone using the term "dude", then please use punctuation correctly. Those wacky apostrophies indeed exist in the highlighted words.

The gloating you're doing regarding whether or not Jetblue has stopped hiring along with mentioning how much money you're making or how many of your fellow pilots are below you on the Eagle seniority list just makes you look self-centered and insecure.

It's okay to accept the fact that Eagle may be your "destination." Your thinly veiled attempt to skewer Jetblue and defend your position at Eagle does not hide your contempt. Be man enough to admit it.

Guys, please keep the thread on track. If you dont have something to say about the topic at hand, dont post..go start another thread.

Thanks

Sorry Longhorn:
eaglefly was acting like a jerk, and some of us needed to put him in his place.
Again, sorry!

SW has many many of them making 6 figures. Lots of angles to increase income. Obviously they are working 5 plus days a week

But you are bragging. You keep telling us how great you have it and how smart you are....it's called bragging sporto. If you had been turned by JetBlue I would certainly indestand your angst. The fact that you came on this thread to puff your chest out and tell us how JetBlue will be bankrupt makes you sir a halfwitted gomeral.

What was weird about it? Not sure where you live, but a 2pm show for an interview would probably have you done by 5 or so. In most cases you should be able to commute up and back the same day not needing a hotel. Anyway congrats on NetJets! They are a first rate company from everything I hear.

737....that was not directed at you....

We don't pay for hotels anymore?

B6, i shared a crashpad with a bunch of you guys back in '03 when good old CCP had a JFK base, and I have a buddy just upgraded on the E190, the best of luck to you,you did a lot for JFK,and the new york area as a whole when you all showed up in '00,and after 9/11 you all were one of the few bright spots in the industry, live long and prosper,Godspeed !

Only children use the word "dork". I suppose "dude" and "bro" and "homey" are there too.

When you make it to your majority, let me know.

hahahahaha damn you are funny. Let me guess......cowboy boots, mustache and belly fat, you sir are a great catch.
