the cool thing is the pax probably could watch the whole thing on the tv!
never thought about that, unless they turnned the tv off in the cabin. Possibly refund their money as well(i dont know for sure if JB charges for in flight tv like frontier)

Ticket on Jet Blue: $250

New A320 nosegear assembly: $100,000

Having Fox News preempt Bill O'Riley interviewing Phil Donahue to show flawless landing: priceless

Even more priceless .. Marth Stewart's reality show debut losing viewship due to the emergency.

nevermind, MSNBC just said they turned off the TV sets in the cabin

Excellent job to the crew!!!

Those guys did a great job keeping it as safe as possible and on that centerline.

Since I don't have cable TV I watched every moment on an internet news feed.

This bud's for you dude.....

OK...most disturbing thing I can see...picture perfect landing then.....

jetblue(?) / gung-ho emergency fools are all gathering UNDERNEATH the Airbus with the busted nose gear.

WTF folks?

you fly it around and get the fuel where you want - or just land it heavy.

WHATS the big deal with the fuel dump folks?.

Christ, is that a joke? "you fly it around and get the fuel where you want" .. sure, assuming the plane remains sufficiently airworthy to burn fuel for a few hours. You gotta be kidding dude.

My thoughts exactly.

What a great landing. I wish my NORMAL landings looked so good.

CNN reports the FO was caught on 121.5 crying for his mommy to make it all stop.
He said, i never wanted to fly the big pwayne but you made me!!! Bet he wishes he hadn't been a polygamist now!!!

Also, French TV is reporting that if they had only bought AMERICAN products, this would never have happened.

AMAZING!

Guess there will be a loss at JBLU now for SURE.

God Speed yall.
Texas SUCKS. Go back, and stay there. The rest of the country will thank you.

They sure used a heck of a lot of runway, but wow! Those are some truly skilled pilots.

by the way

appologies if someone already asked but i dont have time to croll through 155 posts
