So to recap:

Jetblue will be outsourcing ALL widebody flying.
Health benefit will continue to be the WORST in the industry with a $2500 deductible and $6500 out of pocket for families.
No retirement workaround as promised and therefore the WORST retirement in the industry.
The SLOWEST upgrade in the industry with no growth in sight.
The LEAST flexible work rules in the industry.
Pay caps at 78 hours to avoid the premium pay they love to tout in interviews.
And ZERO increase to the pilot budget until the second CBA is finally signed in 2022.

So if you want a place to beef up your resume for Delta and FEDEX come on over but it really isn't as "friendly" as they try to convince you of in your interview and INDOC. This place gets nastier by the day.

See you on the line little no voters.

...I don't have the patience or inclination to further break this down for you.

I'll break down your argument:

Management wouldn't EVER let the bottom 50% go because that would just be... well... MEAN. And... my management team isn't mean! They are NICE. They wouldn't ever sell me out! I KNOW it isn't in writing, but I TRUST THEM!

Does that about cover it?

This smells like a pre-negotiation carrot. Negotiation 101.

Now, do I think JB could use some A350s/787s on flights to Central and South America out of JFK and maybe even FLL? Absolutely. But the industry merger/consolidation phase has not played out - so, they won't do anything until they know they are in the clear and less likely to merge. At least that's my theory... ;)

Step 1 Read the above again
Step 2 see step 1

This is reality at JetBlue ladies and germs.

Not to mention the new Personality Tracking System, Personality Training, and metro-sexual grooming policy.

What a bunch of BS.

This place doesn't hire pilots. All they want is flight attendants who know how to fly.

Why, because you can't wear a Goatee anymore?

Why, because you can't wear a Goatee anymore?

No, because every airline pilot wants to dress like a flight attendant, have his personality scores tracked for fabulousness, and attend a 3 day charm school for 4 hours of pay per day.

And soon, we'll be answering for our personality scores, along with the new "reliability" standards, this place is going to get REAL fun.

What happened to the company line that none of this heavy handed management would come down on us if we voted for the DR.

I think we've finally distilled the anti-union argument down to: I'm just happy to have a job.

For the love of Pete.....,

It's very difficult to have an intelligent discussion with an idiot, so I'm not going to bother trying.

Do me a favor: learn to read and comprehend the English language somewhere above the second grade level, then go back and read my post again before you try to respond. It might help you understand what I was actually saying. Until then, I have far better things to do with my time other than debating on the Internet with an idiot.

You addressed EVERYTHING I didn't ask you about. I specifically underlined the part of your post about dressing like a flight attendant. Why do you say that?

The new grooming policy is just fine with earrings and rainbow pins, and your new personality index can only be improved with flamboyant mannerisms. When you get to charm school, you can score extra points with a moving story about a time when you cried.

BS.

Whatever happens will be whatever is most cost-effective for management. What that involves has entirely too many variables to calculate until more information is gathered, such as who is merging/buying, etc.

To say this is unrealistic fearmongering and is ridiculous. Could it happen? Sure. Will it happen? It depends on the circumstances. Likelyhood is low in my opinion.

You already agreed that a 'Fair Integration' is 50% of the pilot list being stapled. That is what the jetblue pilot group agree is a FAIR Integration.

Why do we deserve any better than that anyway working for a company with no benefits, no retirement and no career movement. Remember, this is not a career airline right?

What the hell do you think is going to happen if we get bought? Hell, The last time AA hired we didnt exist! That was going to happen anyway, and if you think even the top 50% is going to get a good deal in a merger/buyout you are living in a dream world

Okay, so JB might be buying new aircrafts. When are they going to start interviewing again?

Don't hold your breath. Spring 2013 at the earliest would be my guess.

When they need another 300 "NO" Voters to run through Blue-Re-Education.

Yeah, yeah, I know...

...nobody voted "NO" except a handful of BoBs.

Dumba$$.

You DO know that anybody hire May and later of 2011 was not eligible to vote, right?

Blame the "I've got mine" guys like yourself if you want to blame someone.

This is probably accurate. Word is there are like 120+ in the pool. That will have to be drained first.

Word is 250+ next year, but believe it when you see it. That's what they said abut this year too.

The so-called "I've got mine" guys are the one's who worked tirelessly on the FIRST, the SECOND, and the THIRD union drives while we watched the endless stream of "happy to have a job" guys fill the right seats.

Get educated son.

The majority of Captains I fly with are no voters. Of course, there are some newbies that are no voters, but a lot of them are slowly changing there minds once the blue juice is flushed. However, with the Captains, there are two common excused I hear from them: 1) "I don't like ALPA." 2) "2% is too much for me to pay."

When I have asked about the reduction in health benefits and increases in premiums, many have stated they are not aware of what's coming down the line, or they tell me how they have other benefits from the military or a spouse. I have also heard more than one Captain say that DB and RM have a good relationship with the pilots and they wouldn't do anything to jeopardize their reputation among us, so there is no chance we are for sale or anything negative could happen to us has a pilot group.

There are a solid 1500 lambs in both seats, civilian and military.

It's ironic that the best hope for this pilot group to ever see real airline pay and benefits is a buyout and a staple.

We just have to hope we aren't reinterviewing for our jobs.

Hey Cartoon Boy,

Integration doesn't mean our #1 is now #2 guy after the integration.

But to pre agree that a Fair Integration is a TWA/AA integration is just Bluejet Crazy.

But ya did!

Last years number was based upon attrition and sold to the pilot group as 'look we are hiring". Implying that we are growing.

Next year we will 'hire' hundreds for attrition not growth if DAL, SWA, UAL, FedEx, UPS and Mesa start to hire.

I didn't sign the 5 docs f-uck nuts.

Maybe you should think before you open that hole in your face.

Anyway, if the PEA is as worthless as most of you claim, what the hell does it matter anyway?
