The filing was supposed to happen today. Not sure what the hiccup is. As for as the outsourcing is concerned all the codeshare agreements we are signing with international carriers can be seen as such. Jetblue is determined to make sure we do not do any of that flying on our own. Their rationale is cost based which contradicts our argument for "culture". Originally we would not use regional carriers to do our short haul flying because of culture and customer experience. Now with all the international agreements being signed and the PVC(4 members) agreeing to allow Jetblue to start and alter-ego airline or purchase a regional carrier all bets are off.

Remind us again which international carriers have we signed "codeshare agreements" with? Do you know what a codeshare is?

Who gives a crap. Let them keep the beloved SWA in majors and leave the rest of us lowly LCCs here. Does it really matter? Seems like just combining to two categories would be the thing to do.

Back on topic. When's the vote? Beginning of June or so?

It will take some time to count and verify all the cards. After that the NMB will schedule the vote. My best guess would be inthe first half of july.

Looks like the management of JetBlue has suspeneded the BluePilots forum....

Sauce for the goose. We'll have a secure forum in its place in no time and JB shills and trolls will not have access to our discussions. In the big picture, it's a good thing.
