Phase II -- 3 and a half weeks. But then I am charming and handsome and I can do a keg stand for 10 minutes. Oh and I was one of those HIGHLY INEXPERIENCED WET BEHIND THE EARS MILITARY ONLY pilots so maligned on this carnival of wits we call the "fi." I had never even done a CAT II ILS or the Carnasie Climb, much less a layover in Boise! The horror.

You don't want to work at jb. You may have to fly with a dude who's landed on aircraft carriers or dropped warheads on foreheads or tanked a million times at night, in the goo, on goggles. How will he handle the pressure when you find out that the USA Today you were saving was from yesterday, or worse yet, that your $10 Wolfgang Puck Asian Airport Salad didn't come with wasabi?

THAT was good.

A bonus would be to force further paycuts from pilot groups that deny us the jumpseat a lot.

Few at any carrier have tolerance for this sort of BS although it does go on. Don't malign whole groups for the actions of a few idiots. Most of us know that a lot of you guys/girls are furloughed pilots from othe ALPA carriers.

With any luck there will be mass pilot walkouts, a number of chapter 7 filings and we'll have the industry to ourselves in a few years. And this is all because we hate you and want to destroy the profession for a pop in our stock options.

Getting a little sensitive are we? It was a straight foward question with nothing implied.

Well, I hope they continue hiring into the Bus. I'm interviewing in two weeks. My family can't take the EMB FO paycut. That would be another 50% or so on top of the 60% I've already taken.

Hal-

There is still a good possibility that you can get the Bus. Good chance that hiring for the Bus will pick up in late summer so the timimg with the interview and hopefully Pase II should work out. Good Luck!

Yea... Hi-Larious.

Don't quit your day job.

Anyway, I do work here. And it's insulting and wrong to make people wait over two months for an answer. And in some cases, over two months to give them a negative answer. And it should stop.

I'm pretty sure that you have that confused with our new business partner, the Catholic Church. Very much in the same "co branding" spirit as serving Dunkin Donuts coffee, we have been ordained to hear confessions and I do not think you heard "JB losses" I think you heard about our new "JB crosses".

Nah, wadda ya smokin?

JB is controlled by the Mormon church and doesn't pay any taxes... ;)

I agree. Too bad he found it scrawled on Whopper wrapper stuffed into a seat back while he was grooming the cabin...

Ahh, a union stooge from the airline with the world's worst customer service chimes in...

On second thought, sorry, fellow fighter pilot. All hopped up on cough syrup today. Besides, if we're REAL lucky, please please please, we will get us some of that union action toot sweet.

Lighten up my man. It takes that long to evaulate cabin cleaning skills.

Dude-

We know that you were in the military already! I can just see you as a kid..."look at me, look at me".

Ha, Juice. You're right, I need to let that one go. BUT -- I mean, we get it already. You work at jb, and you dig the "bluejuice." What's not to love?

From now on, I will speak of nothing but beer and porn. Here's to new beginnings!

Man a 20 % pay cut. Gee I'm stuck as a Cpt. on a 45 at Flex. Just trying to build more time so I can, ummm let me see. I know I will apply at Home Depot. They need good help. Darn, immigration forget that. Welfare yeah! thats the ticket.

No problemo! They breed faster than we can piss 'em off!

In your next contract (giggle) you should demand WiFi in the cabin so you can download porn while your trying to get those ground-in Cheerios out of the seat crack.

I'll be in the concourse, trying to get the Starbucks slacker to charge me 23.9% less for being a NWA toad...

And that's "CAPTAIN union stooge" to you!

Haven't heard about pay cuts...yet.

But... (and this is a big but)... D. Barger told our recurrent class that the company is looking into HSA's or Health Savings Accounts.

In my opinion we will be having them by the end of the year.

What's a HSA? Do your own homework and find out. Basically, it's a pilot paying for his own health care...

Not so bad if you're a Senior A-320 CA. (about 2% paycut by my calculations. i.e. married with dependands.)

But if you're a E-190 FO watch out. (About 15%...yep that's right 15% married with dependands. Plus or minus a point or two dependant upon your monthly hours.)

But don't take my word for it...do your own search on HSA's.

P.S. BTW... Talk of pilot unionization has been increasing lately...(out in LGB). With HSA...it will start to increase I think.

Oh Yes...my spell check has been out-sourced to India and we're having problems in translation.

Take Care All...Weapons FREE!

Yeah, that will save money. Think of the training costs.

As someone alluded to earlier, we got an update from Dave B. earlier today. I would post it, but I prefer to wait until a CO or DL pilot gets a hold of it and ponies it up instead.

It was surprising in that it took some of the doom/gloom out of the earlier one. Either way, JBPA won't like it.

No doom and gloom from me, Bro. Despite the email amplifying my earlier comments in another thread about D3's knee-jerk leadership, it was definately good news for all.

Oh, and T---, I do work here. Did you not get my Tim Horton's reference? Is the last letter of your last name 'N'?

I post a couple of opinons that I were justifiable and now I'm Mr. Doom and Gloom. It makes me tingle all over like a little girl. Now I know how the General feels (6000 posts earlier). Just kiddin' GL.

Edit: Oh yeah, the validity of this thread is ridiculous (no concessions - except funnel cakes). Either way, the kool-aid boys are going to circle the wagons. Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye Ye!!!

You might want to check the wording in your 5 Year Contract that every JetBlue independant pilot contractor signs...
