Which aircraft doesn't do red eye turns from JFK and or BOS.

I would go with that one. Unless you love commuting into base for a 18:00 - 20:00 show for a 22:30 report and then a red eye turn.

Reserve isnt bad outside of JFK. New JB rules say you have 15 min to return call from sched. Then you have 2 hrs to report. They cant rush me. Also I get long call about 2 times a month. They will release you on your last day so you can make a commute. Not as bad as it sounds. I bid reserve and sit at home about 5 days a week.

I hear they are firing up a second class for early Oct.
