You think my initial post “ripping on someone”? When I start "ripping" on someone, you'll know it. I was having a little fun and my post is obviously written that way (well obvious to those with a shred of a sense of humor).

(note the lack of smiley faces, etc. - now I'm ripping on you)

Adler...could you please tell me more about that callsign stuff? It would be soooo awesssssooooommme to have a cool nickname!! I am sick and tired of mine regular non callsign name! it is so boring!

If you introduced yourself to someone...do you get to say, "hi, i am (maverick, or....iceman??) is it just like the movies? and the CHICKS!!!! WOW! plus....come on...tell me the truth...THOSE cool flight jackets with a million patches???? AWESOOOOOOOOOOOME!!!!!!

what about ninja motorcycles...do you have one of those TOOOO? AWESOOOMMMMMMEEE MAN!!!

ok, well, mom wants me to go to bed! Later dude

Ghostrider, this is VIPER...over and out! AWEssssssssssssssssommmeeeee!

Jeez guys...Adler's original post was made in jest...even I, the official Dunce of Flightinfo, figured that one out.

Maybe we can just simmah' down now and give each other a little grief...all in good fun, of course.

And I have to say--even that blue juice thing was kind of funny.

Kind of, anyway...

Geez Flipper...always being a reasonable man. You must be getting your jollys away from work doing something worthwhile.

Me--I'd fly in pink pajamas if that's what it took to have a job at a major. What I care about is what I wear when I get home. If its a flightsuit or a swimsuit, you are doing it right...

(yawn) This is like living with your mother in law. You guys flaming us and you B6 guys defending us should channel some of that energy into an internet business or something. You could even go into business together...use your time a little more productively.

I don't have time to start another business due to my impending lawsuit.

Chippendales..those bastards..They used a picture of my body for their advertisements and digitally replaced my cranium with somebody who is actually good looking.

Another reason not to post after two beers... See ya!

"I've never seen a military guy exibit this entitlement that we hear of. Mostly, they are in awe of the tough road that civi guys have to travel to make it to the bigs".

No, well here it is:

"Second, it took a lot more than a good resume, some networking and interview to qualify them to wear those uniforms. The duties they fulfill wearing those uniforms is far more honorable than giving people a cheap ride to L.A. or getting someone their package on time. Putting your (or my) source of income/employer on the same level as the U.S. military is laughable".

You tiny dich...don't tell and Marine and the rest of us how your earned your little guard job. If you would like to see a real ripping send me aPM

You guys need to take a deep breath and lighten up. You sound like you are filled with a lot of anger and testoserone. What you really need is to get laid. If you don't get laid soon, you will continue to have all of this pent up anger and might even develope BLUE balls that will match your shirt.

P.S. Before you blow a gasket, understand that was a joke.

Adler,

Most airline uniforms consist of a suit with stripes, a shirt, a tie and a pair of black shoes. Stripes come in a variety of colors. Airborne wears grey, UPS brown, Fedex I think dark blue, AA black. Clearly, blue is not you, although with AirForce wearing blue that seems odd.

Oh well, the ladies like them!

I meant in the crew room, not on Flightinfo. Part of the basis of my post was that people with either extreem attitude don't make it too far...with few exceptions.

I enjoy this place very much, but any info or opinion here isn't any more reliable that what's on Jerry Springer...again, with some exceptions--people who back up what they say with facts and their true identity/employer. Everything else is purely opinion, with which you can choose to agree or disagree.

MAINTAIN AN EVEN STRAIN AND DON'T GET TOO EMOTIONALLY INVOLVED!!

Jetblue guys sensitive, naw. What a common refrain to anything said by them. Sensitive is the FedEx guys who start these things in the first place for no reason who have their own issues.

Sensitive is the response-
FedExGuys belong on the cargo board. The only reason they flock to the majors board is that they know no one reads the cargo board, and they like the attention.

How about that 3+ year wait for the jumpseat. Thanks guys for moving with such speed on that. Maybe that is why it took so long to see a JetBlue dude?

I never heard, did you guys get that plane out of ROC yet?
http://forums.flightinfo.com/showthread.php?t=65328&highlight=rochester

And finally, the doctors v. veterinarian comparison, that was funny.

Please, just go to cargo board, where the BOX haulers belong.

Hey AD, you still so silly! Jest or not, don't you have anything else better to do than to see who you can get a rise out of. Maybe you need to go sit in your squadron room and see if you can beg a hop from some OPS officer to relieve your frustrations. That is providing you really do fly those types. HA HA!

OK, let's call BS on this sensitive guy--

Get real. This guy was making a funny and everyone could see that except...well, you know

This was a little funny when it happened, but not to those who come to this board for info on getting a job at a 'major.' There are plenty of more-questionable carriers who often appear on the major board than UPS and FedEx.

Can't hold a pilot group responsible for managment jerks. But if you did...they are the only carrier that I know where you can get a reservation that is in stone. BTW, looks like there was a time recently when offline jumpseaters could still ride FDX, but their own pilots couldn't(and other employees still can't)

And JetBlue has never had a nosegear problem. Leno is still making jokes about it as of last night. When it was all over the news, there was nothing but attaboys and praise for the guys in blue, yes lots of blue.

Would have been funny if the 2nd year 'veterinarian' F/O didn't make about the same as a senior 'doctor' captain. Perhaps a better comparision would be ER Doc to CT surgeon. It's a little obscure, but the CT surgeon doesn't interact with the 'customer' too much, and most people think surgeons are jerks based on a stereotype, but they make a lot of cash.

OK, you got them. Now go read my response above about the major's board.

Everybody, If you don't have a sense of humor, unsubscribe to Flight info, go flying by yourself(they guys that fly with you wish you would) and then roll inverted and pull.

There's a cargo board??

Adlerdriver, for a fellow military guy, your initial shots fired off the range.

Actually, he was on the tanker while the strikers were on the range getting beat up by red air.

Why you guys so sensitive......

I rest my case. Some simple flame bait to show that JB guys aren't any different than other pilot groups.

Don't get me wrong, I have friends at different operations. Its all good.

Off to try and go inverted and pull, thats a good one....

I don't think you can accuse me of being sensitive to FedEx or JetBlue issues, I'm just providing facts and insight.

I don't think I helped to prove your point, but if you do...congratulations.

Gentlemen (and I am being gracious with that term),

This horse is no longer breathing.
