Ahhhh The good ole days.
It was an adventure to remember. I went back to the haunts of my early flying career, P-3's in the Med. Plus I got a lot more than $200/day I got $279.45 per day and $72.00 a day per deim. Better than being unemployed, plus who get to hand fly a beat up ole DA20, non RVSM, non mode "S", and no .833 freq spacing. Being told by Athens Approach to contact Athens Tower on 136.12 was a bit interesting, since 135.97 was our highest freq. But it was the jar of peanut butter and loaf of whole wheat bread picked up at 7-11 on the way to KYIP at 0330 than topped the cake. Do it again in a heart beat.Pilotyip the same guy who flew a ratted out falcon to the middleast for like 200 bucks a day and then didn't even sleep got back on a plane to coach it home. All to save the company a few bucks after they laid him off.
That is professionalism. HMMMMMM
