Sorry for being ignorant, but you folks still signing 5 year individual contracts?

And being non-union, what's to stop management from giving you the middle finger, a Yuck Fou, and not renew you?

Language got changed (last year, I think) to it will automatically renew unless fired for cause. Why you ask is it still a 5 year contract....good question. Most likely the JB lawyers were either too lazy to rewrite that part or too dumb figure out there is no advantage to an auto renewing 5 year contract. I guess what I am trying to say is JB's lawyers don't seem to be that bright. That is not necessarily a bad thing. Unless, of course you are depending on them to represent the compan...i mean represent you for any issue relevant to the security of your career.
