Not that I think that AMR will purchase JB but, I have heard those rumors from a few different places. I think it's just wishful thinking or twisted thinking.

Aint gunna happen.
 
Sounds like just a little overlap for US Air, actually, there is too much aircraft similarity (airbus) for Parker to be interested. Wonder if the DAL deal doesn't go through if he could get JB for the $8.? Billion offer.

Never said anything about US Air. I'm sure with the east coast shuttle they already have and the 190 program they just launched, they would NOT be interested in JetBlue. DAL would also most likely not be interested unless they just wanted to remove one competitor from the mix. Someone like United or AMR might be interested in those JFK gates and slots along with the 190 operation. I also don't understand how any of you can think that the B6 operation with all those slots at JFK along with the NY-FL routes is not valuable? I'll call it valuable not lucrative, how is that?
