$$$, respectfully, now is not the time to generalize or stereotype. FYI, the largest two contributors to the ALPA drive were ex-fighter guys.

Now is the time to build unity. We still have a membership drive to go, and need everyone to grab an oar and row.

Well then I am looking fwd to meeting and flying with them. I guess the last 8/10 fighter guys I have dealt with are just bad apples. I am very glad there and sure there are some good ones out there. Just not my experiences.

I would say 300 of these guys are military pilots. 100 were management. 200 are ex US Air and ex TWA who would wrongfully blame alpa for all there problems in life. Unfortunately it seems JB hired every I've got mine, I don't care about you, leave all your brothers behind fighter pilot types out there. Even the night before the vote I had an F-15 gaurd driver telling me about his no vote and his tri-care and how he has his. Unfortunately the military pilots at JB have forced me to lose all respect for any single seat military driver out there. The bomber and cargo military drivers are all great guys. Don't know what the deal is with those fighter guys.

I'm not a mil-spec... but for the record, of the 7ish guys i fly with on a regular basis that are, only 1 would have voted no and i don't know that he did. The military pilots are not the problem here. don't throw that crap around here. The guy you flew with is the acception to the rule.

Our biggest hurdle, by far, was the ex-UsAir East pilots. Which is not to say they were all no votes. At least 200 out of the 500+ were yes votes. Unfortunately, that left about 300, or roughly 1/2 the no votes. Thanks much to the 200 or so that helped us win.

There weren't but 293 ex-USAir pilots hired at any one time.

Two "fighter guys" were THE ONEs who led this drive for the past 2.5 years, and ensured we got this done, and were inclusive to everyone...

So please don't stereotype or post something on here, you truly don't know the truth about!!

BTW... we all owe those two fighter guys, and one of those previous two... King Arthurs, died for our cause and we owe a ton and debt of gratitude...
