Yes, believe it or not, its all 100% true.

I first heard the 'Janet' call sign over 20 years ago being used in Las Vegas.

When we added a standard stop in Las Vegas the Justice Department called the DOD and inquired if we could use the 'Janet' terminal for our operations for its security. DOD replied, "What terminal?"
