Facilities and operational improvements have played a small part, but if you block everything at twice the flight time, it's not hard to be ontime.

True. When you push back 20 min late and still get there 20 min early, you know something's wrong with the numbers.
 
yeah; it helps now that ASA decides its own block times..that's a change from years past
