Granted, $200 is "penny ante". Managements don't seem to get it.
"Lets 'nickel and dime' the front line workers to make up for lost revenue. But don't worry, this won't affect employee morale one bit. It's ONLY $200. They'll ALL still do their absolute best to save every penny of excess cost regardless of any extra effort required."
In other words: "Let's just tweak the little guy who's fingers are directly on the cost knob and be rest assured there will be no negative effects."
