This I want to know. Why in the bleep do the guys get away with porn but the women can't enjoy some in their avatars? If it gets too risque, remove the avatar as it is done for the guys.

I think it's a male ego problem. They can't uphold the standard.

Guys expect us to be a perfect ten but put up with their pot bellies, beer burps, smelly feet, and thinning hair.

And I could put up with the above if the guy also helped with changing diapers, washing dishes, doing laundry, cooking dinner (in CA BBQing is acceptable at any time of the year in any weather conditions), balancing the budget, mopping the hangar floor, changing the oil in all five vehicles (cars, plane, boat, RV), and assisting with flying and driving lessons.

What's really sad is guys make the same positive comments on avatars that contain shots of cool planes, cars, and war explosions.

Fly SAFE!

I didn't get a chance to see the avatar in question. If there wasn't any nudity, it should be allowed. You're right that there are plenty of guys on this board with avatars that are pushing the very edge of the envelope on what is appropriate.
I hope this member wasn't banned just for having a picture of a guy in his underwear!

What are the avatar standards? How far are we allowed to take it? Of course, we are assuming that she was banned because of the avatar.

Good job moderators!! nobody here wants to look at some guy in his underwear. Im glad you banned her. maybe now she can spend more time learning to cook.
hugh??

now, i have no desire to see some dude in a banana hammock, as long as you can't actually see the franks and beans, why get banned?

I know i've been asked to remove various avatars at times, i wouldn't begrudge one of our double X sisters their own jollies (but then, i think we'd need more bi-les girls on the board )

Seriously, it's getting way out of hand. Is there a reason why we have to have scantily clad members of either sex prominently displayed on an aviation website? It's gotten to the point that I don't even read the messages attached to the inappropriate avatars, I just scroll on by. Pretty low-brow, guys.

Any chance we could clean it up?

There are some =real= aviators here. They get lonely.

It was a heck of a lot colder than that when I was landing in Iqaluit and Churchill Canada this morning. I think it was around minus 28 or so F. Its hard to describe how cold that felt..
Hahaha..."outer space" cold, that's what it is I tell's ya!

I think if everybody keeps playing with the tiger's tail, they're going to find out. Do we really need another rule?

Hey, now you're getting personal, except I don't drink much beer anymore..:p

What's good for the Gander is good for the Goose. Either the girls get to keep theirs, or the guys ought to lose theirs.
