Flying the ATR is probably the coolest gig at the company. I really enjoy it. Granted, it's not the most glamorous but an airplane is just an airplane. I would fly a Cub, Convair, or a Shorts if they paid me enough. The coolest thing about the 400's is the possibilty of growth, but that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
I'm lookin at 5-6 yrs as F. O., then when I do upgrade, I'll be on reserve for 2-3 years. I'm not trying to be grim, but it is what it is. So I guess I'll have to relax and enjoy the lifestyle of a senior F. O. and play lots of golf. But I am getting tired of pullin' gear.
