I think that all of the anti-war protesters should be forced to listen to this 5 minute segment. Mohammed said more in his time on the air (which was limited by that stupid little girls babbling) than most people have said in the months leading up to this war. I have tremendous respect for the people of Iraq and what they have been through. Mohammed is right, there will be innocent people killed in this war, it's unavoidable, but after the war, Saddam will not be in power and he will be unable to kill his own people.

This clip should be listened to by EVERYONE. Take the time to listen.

That is why I do not pay much attention to those types. They just spout slogans based steeped in emotionalism, and not any kind of alternative, other than doing nothing.

Maybe if we all just hold hands, and shower Saddam and Osama with love, everything will be just fine. :)

Doing nothing to me is the absolute worst thing to do in this case. Even worse than war.

It is a crying shame that there are so many people in this country that feel the same way as this girl. I wish they could all wake up out of their little dream worlds.

The sad part is that this girl behaved in a more dignified fashion than many of her counterparts. At least she realized that she was licked. She knew she had no answer, that the game was over. Her more angry clipped-haired comrades would have just yelled the old slogans louder. She reached the end and only tried to exit with a shred of dignity. But it's a very demonstrative sound byte.

Fantastic. Back up to the top this goes! I have emailed this to everyone I know.

LISTEN!

It's very important...

That is the fakest accent I have ever heard. It's odd many of you think this guys is for real. While I agree with much of what he is saying, it is obviously a fake. Listen again to this guy.

give me a break.

I had a neighbor from Saudi Arabia, and he had a very similar accent to this guy. I know FOR A FACT, that many Iraqis living in this country are very much pro-war to rid Iraq of Saddam. I knew some back in California that were bummed that the U.S. didn't take out Saddam back in 91.

Personally, I don't think he's fake..

This guy on the radio was no different than the Iraqi I chatted with at the airport, and they shared the exact same viewpoint. I don't doubt its validity for even a second!

that accent is a little too shady. "You know **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** right you kick my dog"

As for the topic of war...I hope it ends sooner rather than later. I hate to see the Airline industry suffering the way it is. Support our troops.

Proud to be an american aviator.

That was great, the dudes accent was real, I work with Students from the middle east, trust me, that guy was the real deal....
What he said was so powerfull was amazing...

I think it is real. And his militancy and subsequent personal attacks are similar to what some of the guys here did when I tried to discuss and debate the issue of whether or not we have a right/obligation to wage war on behalf of the Iraqi people.

We all feel passionately about our personal views on the subject, but to start the name-calling and personal insults rather than discuss it like mature, educated adults does nothing to further any viewpoint. As strongly as you feel we have the moral obligation to remove Saddam ... I feel just as strongly that we should defer to the UN, and I fear that we will pay for our actions as a nation.

The war is already on and I've sent email to friends in my old unit
who are fighting it to let them know how much I appreciate the sacrifice (and 3rd ID will be hit HARD, they are the only large armored/mech unit) and how much my family and I hope for their safe return. So we will see which move was the smart play in due time. I may be right (and I hope like hell I'm not) or you may be. We will see. It is a done deal.

He sounds like any one of 25 guys I went to college with, and what he said was pretty convincing.

Even if he is a fake, how can you argue with the piercing logic of his question : "How will leaving Sadaam Hussein in power promote Peace and Justice in Iraq?"

Minh, before we moved in Afghanistan people were saying the same thing there. When the Taliban was ousted the people of Kabul danced in the streets.

I think we will see the same in Iraq.

I was opposed to the war, but having really looked into the whole thing, read a little bit of history, it is obvious that we have to act.

Let's look at some facts. Following WW1, Germany was ordered to disarm. 15 years following the war, Adolf Hitler came to power and said to hell with the international community, international law, and restrictions imposed on them. 6 years later, we had Europe plunge into war. France was overrun, England escaped by the skin of their teeth.

6 millions Jews + millions of other people worldwide lost their lives. But let's say we could go back in time. Would we take out Hitler in 1933? Knowing what we know now, would we put up with him until 1939 when it was too late to avoid a world war?

Note the similarities of the situations after WW1 and following the Gulf War with Iraq. Iraq has been thumbing their nose at the UN following the Gulf War for 12 years now. Their own immigrants want to see the regime change and back the U.S. in getting rid of him. We see a bunch of our flower-power anti-war protesters protesting, but as shown by this radio broadcast, they don't even know what they're protesting against, nor do they suggest an alternative.

I've lost faith in UN during the wars in former Yugoslavia where they idly stood by and watched WW2-like atrocities happen in the heart of Europe and NOBODY did anything. Just like WW2, it took the U.S. pushing and stepping in to bring the war to an end. We're doing it again in Iraq so those flower-power, spread-the-aloha-around-the-world, make-love-not-war hippies don't get hurt on a much larger scale than 9/11, so that we bring somewhat of a stability to the Middle East in at least one country. We are also acting in our own self-interests which we are entitled to.

You can learn the lesson from history. Or you can let it happen again. Europe let it happen following WW1, they were overrun and we liberated them . Our European friends have let it happen again on their front porch in Yugoslavia (Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo). We ended it. How long does it take until we start treating Europe like our mentally-handicapped cousins incapable of protecting themselves, let alone preventing horrible atrocities to their own people throughout the history?

I am glad that we took the stand that we did. I am fully supporting this war. God bless our troops!

This was the same girl, I believe, on Rush Limbaugh's show about 2-weeks ago. She did the exact same thing when posed a question. She would skirt the question and go into some diatribe blah blah blah but never answer the question. I swear, I've never heard Limbaugh hang up on anyone, and while he didn't hang up on her, he did shut her mike off because she wouldn't stop babbling. I wonder how she keeps ending up on these shows!

I think we believe the voice of the Iraqi is fake because many of us have listened to the old Jerky Boys tapes from the early 90s! Whether real or not, the gentleman has a point:
The girl, like most protesters, has no substance to her remarks.
I just saw on PBS the other day a story about one of Saddams' sons. He was the head of the Iraqi Olympic teams. It was reported that he and his henchmen threatened and tortured athletes and their families since they did not win certain events. One man was imprisoned 7 day for missing a soccer team practice! If they treat their athletes like this, how does the average citizen survive?!!

I agree, any time anyone resorts to name calling it completely invalidates their point.

I disagree with your views on the war, but at least we can agree on the above.

Therewas a guy from Iraq in my class in 85 and he had to escape the country because SH didn't like his views. I've since then met a few more (and also a few from Syria- don't say Iran to them, they escaped the ayatollah). They all have the same horror stories of being tortured, family members being shot, raped, gassed. But these countries are not alone. I knew long time ago that things were not right there. Finally something will be done. I just don't like the way how, I prefer the undercover way. Maybe James Bond-007? Ahhh, he probably ends up in bed with SH's mistress;)
