DALPA demanded a wage and benefit package that the company could never sustain and the company just bent over? Please give us a break. The contract was bargained for, supposedly, in good faith by both parties. I'll ask you this. Why were the previous two contracts negotiated between DALPA and DAL concessionary? Did DALPA decide to just not DEMAND a better wage and benefit package, as you seem to believe occurred in 2000? And how much money was DAL making during the concessionary contract periods prior to 2000?MedFlyer said:You, or your union, demanded a wage & benefit package that the company could never sustain. DL was already hemorraghing money before your contract was even signed. Your contract was based on a temporary bubble and had no grounding in reality.

Since you also seem to be a student of economic cycles ("Your contract was based on a Temporary bubble and had no grounding in reality.") perhaps you could tell us when this cycle will end?
