Resolution. Finally.

This thread has finally convinced me that I'll never work for FedEx.

Third tier bottom feeder for life and frickin' proud of it.

FedEx is a strong ALPA carrier, and I imagine that must make you a bit uncomfortable. How are things at Atlas these days? We're rooting for you guys!

It was a beautiful day in Memphis. The turnout at The Peabody was tremendous. We had picketers walking the sidewalks all around the hotel. Two-thirds of the stockholders in attendance at the Shareholders' Meeting were pilots. Watching Fred Smith squirm and turn red in the face was worth every minute of it.

Once the meeting was over, we joined the rest of the gang at the AOC - - we had the sidewalk jammed with smiling faces and picket signs.

All in all, it was a very good day for the professional pilot.

"strong" and ALPA used in the same sentence? Now that weird!

You forgot to mention the "supporter" in the orange shirt with the cast on his leg. He made the day worth it.
So you were on the east side of the Peabody with me, huh?

Yeah, the village idiot was indeed entertaining. :D

Me? Uncomfortable?

I get it. There's no need to be subtle. You think I'm just chompin' at the bit to cross a Polar picket line.

I guess you don't realize I have friends at Polar. Who could fault you?

Things at Atlas are fine. I don't understand why you're "rooting" for us. The Polar guys are really the ones who need everyone's support.

Good luck with your ALPA deal. I hope everything works out.
