Assuming you broke out in Class A... That is the only time you could go VFR. Up until that point you were on an IFR clearance. Now your VMC looking for a suitable airport. If that was the case, I would stay IFR until I could descend VMC to a suitable airport.mattpilot said:question .... what do you do in VMC conditions in Class A airspace, according to the rules ?
