History and Operations: Since 1991, IBC Airways has provided an air cargo service as a 135 operator based at Miami International Airport with a fleet of seven cargo Metroliners and 4 Saab 340 aircraft. IBC Airways is a Bahamas and Caribbean specialist, operating daily flights into Freeport, Marsh Harbour, Nassau, Grand Cayman, Kingston, Montego Bay, Port Au Prince and Providenciales. It was the first cargo airline to operate directly into Havana, Cuba on a weekly basis. The company is certified to carry hazardous materials and specializes in transporting delicate high value shipments such as multimedia equipment. Flight crews are standing by 24 hours a day and can be wheels up in two hours.
