I am so frustrated..

Please HELP !!!

Gulfstream 200,
I think when someone that is not as experienced as you or as you claim to be ask for a bit of advice you should try to help them to the best of your knowledge

Oh my, Big D is right...

That was ONE sentence!!!!

:D :D

But seriously, for the record there Casper...I answered your post very honestly and tried to be helpful when you explained your job search woes....then you turned bi-polar on us!

Just dont come here and justify that 15K SIC PFT in a learjet to any of us....we have all been through that too many times...

As a pro pilot who depends on my job as my livelyhood I dont appreciate mid life crisis ex-CFO's (whatever) like yourself volunteering to pay thier way into a job opening just to "live the dream".....someone out there like myself might need that job someday and not want to pay 15K to "play pilot"...

Its Pathetic.

Its Old.

Gulfstream 200,
Sorry Guy but I don't buy your BS first of all this started last week when I was talking about my friend that went to Pacific jet and he is the one that paid for his Type all I said was that it is tough out there and if you spend the money maybe it will make you more interesting to a potential employer you are the one that got bi-polar not me, I thought that if I went and got lets say a citation Type and knocked on the door of companies that fly that equipment then maybe they will take a better look at me, also I never said that I am playing pilot I worked hard for the time that I have my time also consists of 170 hours of instrument time that of which 45 is actual 600 hours of night and 1270 hours of x-country and I mean real x-country and just over 200 hours of Multi time most of it in a Baron by the way 1000 hours I worked for I would drive 25 miles a day to pick up the aircraft starting at 3:00 am every day and as I said before I am making a career change I am not playing pilot call it as you wish but I did not buy my time at least respect me for this, I understand you have your opinion and it may very well be valid but you should not put someone down that you don't know.

Weeks. Weeks! The horror! All while you've got a good steady non-flying job that pays the bills. No stress about keeping the house, paying the kids' tuition, making the grocery budget without having to apply for aid, etc...

Boy, do you realize that there are people on these boards that have been out of work for YEARS? And I mean out of WORK. Not just flying-airplane work, but actual real-income-producing work. Thank God I'm not one of them, but I know more than a few. I know a furloughed DAL guy who was simultaneously furloughed from THREE jobs when the economy really hit its lowest. How demoralizing must that be? And here's a guy with a steady job complaining about searching for a flying job for WEEKS and having no luck. Rough!

Enough people have begged for punctuation from you, so all I'll say is that it's clear your education lies with numbers and not letters. I can't imagine what your cover letter and resume look like though!
:D

And knowing my karma, even though all I did was try to stick up for a few of my out-of-work friends, I have no doubt that I'll wind up working for an operation some day and have this guy as my chief pilot!

CASPER IS BI-POLAR

Casper...casper...answer me you little F@#^%er!
God this guy keeps me rollin, I live to read posts by casper on this web board. In fact recently this is why I check on every day!!!
Now seriously casper...if you ever interview for a job where I work I will probably...my god I can't even say it on this board.

I am putting out an ad though in SoCal for Operators to watch out for a 38 yr old bi-polar pilot with approx. 1700 hrs. ....I think I know who the CJ2 Operator is?!? I am putting out an ad though in SoCal for Operators to watch out for a 38 yr old bi-polar pilot with approx. 1700 hrs. ....

I think it is either at CMA, VNY or ONT...likely CMA...

Ive been reading G200 and Casper B!tch slapping each other (well, G200 slapping him all over the board and Casper trying to keep up) around for a while now... and getting a real rise out of it I must say. But I have to side with G200. If you want to have a mid life and get the notion that becoming a professional pilot is the way to go at that point; then suck it up and pay your dues like everybody else has had to do for so many years to get where they are. PFT is wrong. Unless you've spent AT LEAST 1000 hours or so flight instructing and washing airplanes as a hanger rat to get by, or some other suck job like banner towing; don't talk about paying your dues. Flying two hours away to eat a hamburger doesn't count as hard work. It's PFT nuckle heads that cause the rest of us to have to whore our selves in this industry.

Well at least on this sentence he had to stop and breathe a few times while writing it, he managed to get 3 commas in there (still no sign of any "inter-paragraph periods" however!!!)

Here you go everyone. Caspers last post proof read once, with punctuation added in the correct places and correct grammar used. Casper, we all hate run on sentences, so please take the time to proof read.

The new and improved version.
Gulfstream 200,
Sorry Guy but I don't buy your BS. First of all this started last week when I was talking about a friend that went to Pacific jet, he is the one that paid for his Type and all I said was that it is tough out there. If you spend the money maybe it will make you more interesting to a potential employer. You are the one that got bi-polar not me, I thought that if I went and got lets say a Citation Type and knocked on the door of companies that fly that equipment then maybe they will take a better look at me. Also I never said that I am playing pilot I worked hard for the time that I have. My time consists of 170 hours of instrument time, that of which 45 are actual. 600 hours of night and 1270 hours of x-country, and I mean real x-country, and just over 200 hours of Multi time most of it in a Baron. By the way for 1000 of my hours I would drive 25 miles a day to pick up the aircraft starting at 3:00 am. As I said before I am making a career change I am not playing pilot, call it as you wish but I did not buy my time, at least respect me for this. I understand you have your opinion and it may very well be valid but you should not put someone down that you don't know.

The original version one more time for reference.
