My wife, Lauren and I just returned from a long vacation on the African Queen which included stops in Casablanca and Key Largo. I got a real good deal on cigarettes in Casablanca. So you flat out hate the teamsters after you just got a raise because of them? I understand you could be mad at ALPA after all your regional experiences, you guys definitely got hosed by them but that is a different board I guess. Teamsters 1108 is made up of fractional pilots, whether we operate under teamsters or in house or whoever, WE are the union so just get over it. There is alot more that we gained with the contract than the pay scale your employer graciously matched (which I am sure they would have done anyway regardless of what we got in our contract.) No one is shoving anything down your throats, just suggesting something we thought would be helpful for you, it does nothing for us if you join 1108 or not so just get over it. You don't want a union, WE GET IT. Now move on....
