You need to get educated. The average WGA member makes a lot less than the average flight attendant. A precious few of their members make the big bucks, but it's rare. They are only asking for what's fair.

Why should I care what size house John Edwards owns? That doesn't affect me. What affects me is how he votes, and what bills he would sign. The size of his house and the amount of money he spends on a haircut just doesn't matter to me.

You can be a republican- that doesn't bother me. I'd prefer you didn't get your information from the typical Fox/Rush flunkies and verified some of their b.s.- but i'm a social liberal who's financially conservative- i get many of your philosophies. (The points we'd agree on though are why you shouldn't like bush's throw money at every problem w/ no regard to whether the people in charge of that $$ are competent)

What i find funny though is that many pilots like you say you're free market capitalists- and then vote for ENORMOUS paycuts to bail your company and all their incompetent managers out so that you can protect your quasi-socialist, doesn't matter if i'm any good at my job-i got a number! seniority. (Devil's advocate before my union brothers jump on me!) I'd be WAY more behind you if you could actually rally your troops and realize our seniority system is broke- and set up a national list union that allows us to keep seniority and let companies that are bad at running an airline fail w/o us having to take the brunt of the suffering.
