Its not racism, its a fact. I just got a call this morning from "Bob" who quite obviously was not calling from the US. Anyway, whatever....

Me: (uh-oh). Whats up?

Wife: Car stopped running.

Me: Oh, ok...

[now at the garage]

Mechanic: The engine self-destructed because there was no oil in it.

Me: Um, shouldn't the little red oil light come on?

Mechanic: It did.

Me, to wife: Honey, didn't you wonder about the pretty, bright red light that came on.

Wife: Oh no...it wasn't blinking, so I didn't think it was serious.

Me: [removes credit card from wallet. Weeps uncontrollably]
