How many green slips got picked up by Delta pilots while furloughees were
on the street?


Way to many! This does not change the fact that this pilot group is a bunch of prick$. Lets think about their character, they take pay freezes to buy jets and flying from another airline! They give no help at all to Delta furloughs, unless you consider wanting them to resign senority in order to go to the bottom of their list! They fight all they can to take as many jets with as many seats as possible (ensuring furloughs stay out longer). They file a billion dollar lawsuit against the union and DALPA to try to destroy our scope language(so they can get bigger planes, more planes at the expense of Delta pilots). They call every other pilot group whores! Comair pilots slam furloughed Delta pilots over and over, saying they new what they were getting into when they picked this profession!

This pilot group is looking out for themselves and no one else! Comair pilots are a bunch of A$$ Holes bitching about taking their turn at the SHI$ Sandwich! Fu$$ Them! I say let em lose their jobs! Let them hit the streets and start looking for a new profession! Comair pilots will get just as much support as they gave our pilot group! NADA! This is justice baby! This is the way the economy works, let the weak die! I am laughing my A$$ off watching these clowns go down in flames because of their poor decesions! In the end you can be assured they will call it all your fault! After all, every other pilot group are whores!

To all the intelligent posters, I enjoy reading your opinions. To all of the Delta/Comair/ASA guys I fully support you. But those of you sniping at each other....please...STFU. Management loves this and although the temptation is always there to bash, be professional and refrain. Every airline on this board could be bashed for one reason or another but lets stand together d@mn it.

And who says a 2 year community college degree can't get you far.....Just goes to show your ignorance in life and how the "ALPA merger policy" works (if this deal even goes through).Work on your coffee serving skills and who gets the turkey for catering!

I hope the US Air thing does not happen... but would it not be ironic if the same merger and fragmentation policy that the Delta pilots subverted in 99 and 2000 turned out to be the perfect excuse to not merge the Delta pilots? After all, where is the definition of "operational integration?"

Acarpe and 737Pylt, why do you slam the Comair guys in their darkest hour? You should want them to earn sufficient compensation and quality of life that management is compelled to transfer your flying back to you.

It is truly a shame that you sold your flying out to the lowest bidder because your MEC took a "bargaining credit" for it. I don't think you have a right to be angry about it. Your MEC negotiated the deal and your pilot group ratified it.

Now that it is all about economics, you should want the numbers to favor you - meaning you should support the Comair pilots in their war to hold up the profession.

For the purposes of requiring an integrated seniority list in the event of a merger or fragmentation, the language is in the respective PWAs.
 
Oh, when 737Pylt wrote "ALPA Merger Policy," I got confused and thought we meant "ALPA Merger Policy."

I just hope it does not happen. It would not be good for anyone except for a couple of managers that are already loaded from their previous pillages at the expense of investors and employees.

I wonder how many Comair Pilts were allowed to just walk in at Delta when we were on strike?? Oh , what? None? Thats what I thought...........

Did you borrow your spin machine from N2264J? We didn't sell out our flying to the lowest bidder, DL managment did! Matter of fact are you, of all people forgetting that the last LOA had a min amount of flying to be performed by the wholly owned carriers? How quickly you forget!

Matter of fact I do. The more expensive DCI becomes, the more managment will want to shift flying back to mainline where it belongs. OF course by their words, no matter what the pay is, DCI will always be cheaper, if you can believe anything that comes out of their mouths!
