How to Deal With "Peace" Activists

AvBug, have you never used these boards before? We used to call them BBS's back in my day 70's and 80's. It is a "bulletin board system". We said they was more "BS" than BBS. Why would 'someone' take someone elses, here is the kicker, OPINION so personal? I don't really care, (is it obvious?) what someone elses OPINION is. I don't know why so many people take life too serious.
If you want me to chime in on somthing aviation related, I will. There are so many "experts" that seem to know so much more. What's the point in getting jumped by somebody that has had too much coffee and not enough fiber in there diet?

You know, something just occured to me: this is a nation of polar opposites. Republicans and Democrats. Liberals and Conservatives. Commies and Fascists. Pro-choice and pro-life. Faithful and secular.

So we have peace activists and peace rallies.

How come we don't have war activists and war rallies?

People walking around with foam-rubber Tomahawks (BGM-109's, not hatchets) on their heads and banners saying "NUKE THE BASTARDS." A thousand people linking arms and singing "Napalm Sticks to Kids." It's be like a pep rally before the big game. Have the cheerleaders hold up a big paper U.S. flag banner in the middle of the field, then have the whole 101'st AB Div. come running through it. The Marine Band could play the fight songs. Saddam, Osama, and Kim burned in effigy.

It might be kind of refreshing, actually.


(By the way, just to make it official, count me in as someone who prefers peace but sees combat as occasionally necessary.)

With few exceptions, I would love to be the guy sitting next to the majority of the opinionated, overzealous, misanthropes on this thread in a job interview...(i.e. your competition). You've lost focus, in many cases you're debating semantics, not real issues...Peace, Love, War...that's philosophy...threatening others with physical harm, that's an ego weakness..those with true power don't stoop to threatening others via e-mail..
