How Many in SWA pool

Interviewed June 14, and was told it looked good for the Dec. 13th class. Rumor was that the calls would start going out this week. Good luck all!

The last few slots have been awarded to the 28 Nov class so the 13 Dec class date will be shortly I'm sure....before Thanksgiving or immediately afterwards is the obvious answer...either way 20-24 folks will have an early Christmas present. Don't know what the Christmas training schedule will look like but regardless I'm sure there are many who would be happy to be in training on Christmas morning wearing a Santa suit!!!! Congrats to the new guys that started yesterday & to those who get the call for Dec.....for those who have been waiting for awhile don't hesitate to tell your stories to provide encouragement to others on here....many of you have been trying for a long time & never thought it would happen....wanna bet there are some other folks reading this who are in the same position? my sim partner got the job, and one other person that I know of. The others are either waiting to hear, or interviewing. My class had 10.

3 of 4 military dudes in my class that typed w/ me at K&S are now in the pool. The other dude decided the airline gig wasn't his bag and stayed for another tour in the AF.

Is your information correct? You claimed before that the Septmber class was added to February 28, and now it's changed again, What gives? are you just guessing or do you know for sure?

Interviewed on 16 Sep. Thumbs up from the DB on 26 Oct. At the time, Kim said to expect a March/April class date...When I spoke to her last week she said she couldn't give me any idea at all because everything was really up in the air. Perhaps due to the "senior management meeting" that apparently took place this week (another thread). Based on the latest words I would expect things to move to the left if anything.

All the info in my posts are just reprints of the information given by you guys. You said that you expected an April class and that is what I put on the thread. I took it off when it caused confusion. Everybody seems to be happy with the reprint of information, and it just consolidates what everybody is being told. But I dont want it to cause confusion. Sorry if it did.

Does anyone know if the June 16 & June 17 interviewees were called for a Dec 13 class? I interviewed on Jun 23 so judging by the latest list I am right on the edge for Jan 3. If the June 16 & 17 guys slid a class then it could cost us a couple of weeks. Any insight would be appreciated... Thanks!!

Heard from the PD that there are approx 200 in the pool. That will take them 'through the spring.' That's pretty consistent with STRFTWBs wag. If they crank up to 24 every two weeks, that's 48 per month, equals four month pool. So that adds up to about 6 months from interview to class, which sounds about right. Best of luck to all!
