How long will UAL continue to operate the 747-400?

Perhaps, or will the value of a used 747 be at its apogee because of soft fuel prices? There may be a valid argument to retain or dispose of 747s in a cheap fuel period.
In either case, I think we'll all be sad to see them go at UAL and DAL when the day comes.
