Yes, push the PAY button and watch the movie, then submit the bill on your expense report.

Couldn't have said it better my good man!

I know have to Radio Shack, Im not really sure after that.

In the "old days," there were some stories about using alligator clips and wires to cross connections on the box and TV to make it happen. A more modern "fable" is using a programable remote to make it happen. I never tried it, and wouldn't want to spend the night in the "grey bar motel" (jail) after trying it. I can't imagine that the systems haven't been developed to prevent this, especially because they are such big money makers for the hotels/motels. I am really happy that the mini-bars are quickly disappearing from alot of hotels. Especially when some hotels started charging for just opening the 'fridge to take a look - they called it a "manadatory $5.00 restocking fee." Amazing.

Woops, its amazing what the voices in my head tell me to say.

YES and NO

If the hotel is video on demand then NO, but if it is running the videos from reception then YES...but if I tell you I have to kill you.

free porn inside, free porn inside.

hmm. used to do it this way long ago. (long ago i mean by 5 years)

go buy a 3 dollar tool (cheap leatherman....or leatherwoman whatever your preference) and extract the needle nose pliers. Reach into that protective collar around the coax connector and unscrew the cable from the Box on top of the TV, plug it straight into the back of the TV. Change the channel and enjoy viewing of free hotel porn.

Problems?: well soon the TV's changed to be permanently on channel 2 or 3 or something and the box was what controlled what you watched, however now the TVs youre seeing in the hotels that are worth more than $15 an hour are all one unit. plugged into the hotel system. and now you cant do anything to trick it. just choose your own adventure with the remote and pay at the desk. you'll most likely have to start getting out the computer and hacking into the hotel to do it these days im afraid.

If he had a "leatherwoman" he wouldn't need free porn! :p

Sorry, couldn't resist.

1900Cpt is creating a book.

Just go to radioshack.

Another way besides risking getting busted, is to go to the Hilton web site, or just give them a call.

For 7500 Hilton points they will send you a book of 5 movie coupons good for any Hilton property.

Since our company puts us in the Hilton properties almost all of the time, it's no big deal since you've got "points" out the wazoo.

free hotel movies

Get a universal remote. Unplug the telephone line from tv. Program remote to tv. Find the blocked channels. Might have to go through the menu of the tv. Typically the channels are up in the fifties. Can only get movies other people have rented.

like slowtation cpt said, you can only watch what other people rent. You "piggyback" off of them. It takes a universal remote, and patience.....some tv's you wont get to work, some you will.

There are two main systems....on command and lodgenet. On command is easier to crack than lodgenet...i will leave it at that...
