Could someone recommend a really nice hhonors hotel to go on vacation.
My wife and I are dropping the kids off in ormond beach fl. for the folks to
babaysit. We don't want to be too far away. Has anyone stayed at the
hilton in nassau bahamas?

Try the Hilton in Barbados...it's brand new and it's safe to get out and walk around. I stayed there for a few days in January and it's a great hotel right on the beach with 2 pools and great food. Make sure you don't miss out on the cocktails and snacks on the top floor for sunset. Good luck...

Hey Archie. Yeah, I'm rackin in them hilton points. Things are going great. What's going on over
at UPS? Are you liking it?

Just finished all my training on the B757/767. I doubt I'll be sitting around for seven months waiting for IOE, like I did at NJA.

While I hated to quit NJA, making the move to UPS was the right move for me. Hey, it's nice to be able to stand up in the cockpit again!

Here's wishing you a speedy upgrade, and give me a call if you find yourself overnighting in the SAN area.

Congrats again on the job. B757/767, cool deal. You deserve it man. We'll have to get some cervesas in SAN.
I just bumped into an interviewer at NJA and he said they plan on hiring
400-450 this year if all goes well. He said that they didn't think attrition
would be so high. Hopefully 2 more years for that upgrade.

Hilton Teterhole close to the city and you are already very familiar with the area. What else could you ask for in a vacation?

What time of year did you go? Are those the rooms that have a hot tub in your own personal balconey upstairs?

hammer2: My wife and I went Mar 15-21. The rooms you are talking about are in the main hotel (Very Nice). However, The Villia's are off to the right (facing beach) from the main hotel. They are more private. They have their own personal porches , or balconey's. Sorry, no hot tubs, it is warm enough that you will not even think of a out tub. The Villia's have their own executive lounge. Food (Changes everyday) and drinks (soft ) are free. IF you choose to go, make sure you request the villa's. Moreover, request the "Villia Bugambila, or Villia Vicaria, they are directly on the beach. Hope this helps. I would suggest renting a car. We rented a compact car AVIS for 7 days at $95.00. You will spend alot more in taxis. I recommend going south to the EX-HA lagoon. It is a very large lagoon (self contained ) for snorkeling. Then go another 5 mins south the TULMA aztec ruins. Have fun

Cabo Wabo

Hilton Resort Cabo San Lucas, Top notch!!!
He beat me to it. CABO!!!

The hilton is on one of the only beaches in CABO that you can actually swim from. It is a Cat./level 6 hotel. 40,000 pts / night 175,000 pts for 6 nights. You get 65,000 pt discount if you stay a full week.

look it up on google earth and check out the pictures on the hilton site.:pimp:
